"Battlefield: Vietnam - My Review"

Battlefield: 1942, was considered the ''Game of the Year'' by GameSpy, Computer Gaming World, PC Gamer, and more. I also thought it was an awesome game, due to the variety, such as raiding territories with a tank, dropping bombs with planes, or just simply shooting down enemies with your weapons on foot.

Now, a sequel to the Battlefield: 1942, the Battlefield: Vietnam, and my review arrives.

SINGLE-PLAYER - 3/10

Single player is close to non-existent in this game. There are no campaigns, or missions. But there are.. BOTS!! You can play an ''Instant Battle'' with amount being your choice. So why exactly did I give it a 3? Well... the bots are what they are.. Bots. You cant expect much from them, and that's especially true with skill. Put it on easy, and watch them face a wall, or do some funky dance, not caring about the presence of you near them. Put it on hard, and.. watch them ''hack.'' Normal is basically fine, but bots don't necessarily give you much fun of working in a team.

MULTI-PLAYER - 10/10

Multi-player is what BFV is about. Playing with humans brings teamwork, and mostly, a challenge. If you join a perfect game, your in for a perfect fun. You'll be planning, and coordinating attacks, ride on the same chopper, with a skilled pilot, taking over all flags, and killings all the enemies, while watching your enemy strike as a team, with a whole force of jets. Teamwork is found in multi-player, which spells F-U-N. Of course, once in a while, you'll meet up with those people with their mouth composed of foul-language, but what game doesn't have them?

GRAPHICS - 10/10
Beautiful graphics. Don't trust me? Watch the screenshots posted on the official website. Explosions of all sorts are very realistic, along with the look of grass. In my opinion, I think the trees look wierd. It might be my graphics card, or whatever, but they don't look so realistic.

SOUND - 10/10

To me, sound is the least important section. As long as I can tell what sound is what, it's all good. As for BFV, I can tell the difference between everything, whether its a jet, a helicopter, or a gunfire.

CHALLENGE-FACTOR - 10/10

It depends. Join a server filled with veterans, and there you go, you have a challenge. Join a server with novices, where you dominate. It's fun in any situation, you feel like you're getting better by playing veterans, or you feel like you're dominating by playing novices.

OVERALL - 8/10

It's an awesome game, which I believe is possible for recognitions such as ''Game of the Year'' awards. But mostly, it's pretty much similar to 1942. There are boats, planes, tanks, and jeeps, in both. 1942 DID have a huge Carrier Ship, and submarines which were cool, but isn't in Vietnam. Of course, BFV has stuff BF1942 doesn't have, such as helicopters, Napalm, and airlifting. Don't get me wrong, it might sound like BFV has similar vehicles, and might be repetitive, but no. Its great fun driving any kinds of vehicle. It might have a little bit of the same feel of BF1942, but mostly, it's a new, awesome game, with a plenty of new features that are well worth it.

CONCLUSION

If you liked BF1942, you'll definitely love this. Even if you never tried BF1942, you'll love this. It has so much variety, that you'll never get bored. If EA(creator of BFV, along with DICE) do what they did to BF1942, which was patching, fixing bugs/errors and adding new vehicles and maps, then BFV would become even better.

NOTE - The real score was not averaged, but taken from the ''OVERALL'' score.
