The Game of Life

"I'm getting married!"

Ever since I played the board game version of The Game of Life I had been playing it quite a bit and even by yourself. The computer version allows you to play a more exciting game by yourself or even with your friends.

GRAPHICS---8/10

The graphics aren't that good in this game but the funny look of the pop ups when you land on a space are great, they may not be the best graphics in the world but they are they are their own unique style in my opinion and are funny anyway. If they weren't funny then the graphics rating would be a seven. Once you've been playing the game for a while you get used to the graphics and this allows you to feel more like you are in the game rather than clicking on your mouse.

SOUND---7/10

The sound is not spectacular in this game and it does get to be quite repetitive and it does get annoying at least for me. What I feel made the sound good was the weird yet funny voices that went with the pop ups when you land on a space. They're funny and some of them will give you a laugh the first few times that you see them.

GAME PLAY---10/10

There are two modes of game play as follow:

Classic---This is sort of like the original board game because it's more like it than Enhanced mode. In Classic you collect LifeTiles, which you eventually get more money for at the end of the game. It can almost always safely be said that the character with about five or more LifeTiles at the end of the game will win because of the large money bonus they give out.

Enhanced---The difference between Classic and Enhanced is the fact that in Enhanced mode when you land on a space that you would get a LifeTile on in Classic mode you will play a little game that you can either win or lose money on.

REPLAY VALUE---10/10

I honestly don't think that much has to be said here considering as how this is a board game and you usually are able to play a board game many many times over again, just think of a board game and you will understand.

OVERALL---9/10

I honestly think that this is a good game that you will keep coming back for and plus if you can get other people to play with you it could be great fun for you, your friends, and even your family.
