Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle
Review by FoxMcCloud767
"Very nice game"
Game Play: 9/10
The gameplay of this game is fairly simple. Kill monsters, Pick up adena (gold), buy weapons, sell weapons, do quests, and party up with other people to make quests easier. There are 5 races which are Humans, Elves, Dark Elves, Dwarfs, and Orcs. Each race has 2 classes (except for Dwarfs which only have figher class), the two classes are Fighter, and Mystic. Fighters use bows,swords, and daggers and use physical attacks. While Mystics use wands or staffs and cast there elemental spells. Once you get to level 20 you can change your class which gives you more skills and you can do the same at level 40. Too sum everything up, this game is mostly hack and slash. But it still makes it fun and most people ingame are nice except for the Pkers (player killers) which will have red names above there heads. Only thing i find wrong with this game is how good of a system you need to have to run smoothly. The minimum system requirments for this game are
Minimum System Requirements
Windows ® XP/Me/2000/98 (NT and 95 NOT supported)
* 800 MHz Intel Pentium ® III
* 256 MB RAM
* 4x CD-ROM drive
* 2.2 GB free hard disk space
* GeForce2 Class card with 32 MB VRAM
* Direct X 8.1 compatible sound card
* 56K Internet connection
But the recommened is
Recommended System Specifications
Windows ® XP/Me/2000/98 (NT and 95 NOT supported)
* 1.5 Ghz Intel Pentium ® III
* 512 MB RAM
* 8x CD-ROM drive
* 2.2 GB free hard disk space
* GeForce4 Class card with 64MB VRAM
* Direct X 8.1 compatible sound card
* Broadband Internet Connection
I have above the recommened but i still like quite a lot expecially in towns where people set up there private shops to buy and sell things. But even with lag the game is still playable so give it a chance.
Storyline: 0/10
As far as i know.. there is no storyline but the game doesn't need one anyways.
Replay value: 7/10
Really it's like diablo 2 here. When you get to a high level you get board of that character and create a new 1 and start all over again.
Overall: 9/10
It may have no story line but this game is still great and it beats any online RPG I've ever played. You can always buy the game and play the free month and if you don't like it then toss it. But I see nothing wrong with this game besides the computer power needed to play it. So buy this game and try it out!
