"A great expansion for an even greater shooter"

Graphics (7/10): The graphics for the PC Medal of Honor Games have always been somewhat downgraded from their console counterparts. Allied Assault proved that a computer could do things that any console could do. The sad part is, the graphics in Spearhead seem toned down. The lighting always seems to be a bit dimmed, especially in the Normandy missions.

Gameplay (8/10): The Gameplay is for the most part, exciting. However, the game does have it's frustrating parts. Remember in the D-Day mission from Allied Assault, where trial and error was the only way to stay alive? This is often the case in Spearhead. There aren't many places where this happens though. The firefights keep it real while while the occasional dodge and weave in the second campain make it frustrating.

Replay (7/10): Most players will come back to play these missions more than once. The trial and error parts of this expansion will keep your brain thinking for clues. This means that the Spearhead expansion is more of a problem solver. That means more replay value.

Multiplayer (8/10): Most players will probably spend most of their time in the multiplayer mode. The A.I. in the game will eventually get predictable and I found that I myself was begging for some human competetion. I got it too. The online package this game delivers is a very nice one. The conveinience of gameplay changes depending on where you play at. I personally prefer Gamespy.

Overall (8/10): I thought this expansion was only just barely worth the money. If it wasn't for the massive weapon addition I would not have liked it nearly as much, but I'll say that the new rifle lineup leaves nothing out. My only major complaint is the lighting. The rest of the minor faulties, I can stand. I would recomend this expansion to players who want the extra weapons. However, if you aren't a huge MOH fan, this may not be for you.
