"A classic for the PC"

This is a review for Spider Man for the PC. I originally beat this for the Playstation, then I found this for the PC for a VERY cheap price. I was amazed on how well this translated to the PC. Lets take a look on how the first 3D Spiderman thinks.

Graphics: (8) Basic cartoon-ish graphics, Spiderman himself is pretty well-detailed. The outside environments are huge and beautiful. Though the so called "thugs" and a bland look to them. I just wish they had more outside environments, but most of the game takes place inside buildings which to me looked kind of bland and repetitive.

Sound: (6) With an intro by the great Stan Lee.....that is pretty much it. Not too much to hear from this. Spiderman sounds dull and so do the thugs. The background music was boring and unnecessary and of course bland.

Game Play: (8) Very fun for some, even though you should definitely get a game pad to play. The keyboard is always awkward to play with. But I found it enjoyable to play as Spiderman and have all his cool moves and acrobatic skills. It could have been better, but this is what your going to get. Though not quite as good as Spider Man: The Movie, it was the first and best of its time.

Storyline (If any): (5) Same as in any Super Hero game or movie, some super villain wreaks havoc. You come in and have to save the day. Kind of dull, huh? Well if your looking for some better story go play an RPG because this is all your going to get.

Summary: (6.75) Porting a game from the console to the PC is never a pretty site, but this game turned out well. If you happen to come across this game in a bargain bin at a Game store, I say get it if you love the Spidey Man.
