"The U.S. has just become victim to a secret weapon!"

Ok, you may have read various reviews about this "game" saying it is bad and not even a real game. Well they are right, it is not a game, it's a secret weapon. First it was E.T., then Superman 64, and now Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. Some country is sending these games to the U.S. in order to make every U.S. citizen commit suicide out of shear boredom. What, you don't believe me? Fine then I'll review this so called "game" for you.

GRAPHICS
Dat's notta truck
Ok let me start of by saying the graphics on this game absolutely suck. This is the worse 3-D game I have EVER seen. The trucks all look the same. The road is just a black line. The buildings are all brown cubes with black squares on them for windows. You will go blind after looking at these graphics. And this isn't the only thing But hey graphics aren't everything write? It's Gameplay that matters right? Besides they must have spent all that money to hire writers to make an awesome storyline right?

STORY
And then Billy Bob the trucker, who lived in a shoe, walked to grandma's house, which was built of of straw, sticks, and bricks.
Maybe it is a little unfair to rate the storyline in a racing game. But the game actually tries to incorporate a story. The back of the box says you have to deliver a cargo of illegal materials (drugs) before your the anyone else does. You will be chased by the cops as you make your journey across 1000 miles of road. Yet non of this is in the game.

SOUND
This is a test, only a test. BERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
One would think the game would have some sort of music or sound right? Well Gues what, there isn't any.
SOUND: 2/10
Ohh wait there is one song that loops after 20 seconds and will sometimes not even come up.

GAMEPLAY
404: GAMEPLAY NOT FOUND
Gameplay is the meat and potatoes of any game. Without it well, you don't have a game, you have a movie. Sadly, this "game" doesn't have any gameplay and it certainly isn't a movie. Like I said in the story section, nothing on the box is present, there isn't even that car that is shown on the front. I'll start from the beginning. Basically you have to beat your opponent( of which there is only one) to the finish line to win. The game can't even do that right. In reality, you have no opponent. As soon as you start it is just you. Your opponent doesn't even move. He just sits there. In fact he isn't even really there. If you try to make him move you go right through him. Which brings me to another point. Nothing really exists. Don't want to drive on the normal route or want a shortcut? Just drive right through that building, house, tree. Yes, you go write through the object and you nor the object suffers any damage. There are no collisions. You don't even drive over the bridges. Instead you go through them. Eventually after driving a little you win automatically. You can't lose at this game, there is no timelimit. You don't even slow down when you go up (yes up) a mountain. The mountains are supposed to be a boundry to keep you from going over the edge of the map, but they don't stop you. YOu can drive of the map and into nothingness forever. But, if you chose to return, that is ok. It shouldn't take you to long to get back to the map if you can find it. I mean you do go over 1000 mph (yes you heard correct). THERE ARE NO PHYSICS. You can go as fst as you want(provided the game doesn't crash). NOR ARE THERE BRAKES. You just push forward and you go forward. Let go and you go from 2000+ to 0 mph in 2 sec. You can even drvie and revers at 2000 mph. This game is hardly realistic. But back to the topic of your opponent. There is a patch to make this game even easier ( is that even possible in a game you cannot lose?) The patch actually makes your AI opponent drive along at 10 mph. Now you may think this makes the game harder, but it doesn't. Your opponent stops just before crossing the finish line.. Meaning "You're Winner" everytime.
