Extreme Pinball

Review by Skye7707

"First Class pinball game!"

~ Introduction ~

Some years ago you had cool pinballs like EightBall Deluxe or Epicpin, Silverball and even Dreams Pinball, Extreme Pinball was on of those you were the best, they were fun to play with their 2D graphics, nowadays the pinballs are boring because of their 3D graphics.

~ Game Play ~ */10

A pinball still remains a pinball, the goal is to get the highest score in the rankings by hitting things and doing stuff in the right order. Sometime when you hit something you trigger some cool things like an extra ball or some nice points to your score. In this game you can choose how many balls you want, and if you play alone or together with someone else. There are 4 tables, each with their own background, music and things like that.

~ Reality ~ 7/10

Because it isn't in 3D it doesn't look too real but it's always nice to play this game. Do you remember Lotus turbo Challenge (PC game) the graphics weren't in 3D but I still prefer that game instead of buying those ultra modern super realistic games.

~ Graphics ~ 8/10

They look pretty good in 2D, each table has its own background and ball, if you hit something sometimes your ball will change into something else, in the first table if you hit a switch your ball will change into a purple CD and another switch will turn on the TV and let you see a nice little movie until you lost yor ball. When you lost it the TV turns off and you have your regular ball again. You have similar things like these in the other three tables.

~ Music & Sound ~ 8/10

There is some nice music in this game, it's interactive to because when you have done something on the pinball tables the music will change. There is some cool music when playing the 4 different tables.

~ Controls ~ 8/10

You control the flippers with the shift buttons or with the arrows. The ball goes very realistic around the table, it rolls and bumps like it is a real ball in a real pinball table.

~ Play Time & Replay Value ~ 8/10

You don't have a play time, but there's a good replay value in all pinball games because you can always try to get a higher score than you had before. If you want to get the highest one I think it'll take a while to find out where to hit the ball to get the most points.

~ Overall ~ 8/10

This is a good pinball game if you like the old classic 2D graphics. You should try this out if you are a pinball fan.

Rent or Buy? If you have an old computer it should run, if you see it somewhere on the net you could buy it if you want.
