Lords of Magic: Special Edition

"I just wanted to make sure this game got the ratings it deserves."

I was bored yestarday so I started looking through my old games and found this one i remember how much i used to love playing it so i got it out and started playing. Then i thought i should write a review for it since some of the old games i like have only one review that gave them a bad score that they dont deserve i am a pretty fair rater i feel.
Graphics (7/10)
This game had ok graphics for when it was made not that great but you could live with them and they worked just fine for what the game wanted to display.
Sound (6/10)
this is about the only thing on this game i didn't like the song is cool about the first ten times you hear it but it becomes extremely old quickly if they would have put a couple of different songs and the game cycled through them it would be ok.
Story (8/10)
The story is nothing special (i think it is just an excuse to make the game) but it gets the job done. you are the lord of a faith of people either death,life,chaos,order,water,fire,air,earth. You all battle agianst death who has come to take over urak or something like that and then you are also agianst your opposite such as order and chaos or air and earth or life and death etc. but your main goal in the game is to destroy balkoth the lord of death.
Gameplay (9/10)
This game is fairly easy to learn to play and is fun at the same time. I like the controls and the overhead view of the world makes it easy to navigate though a small minimap might help. The battles are easy to run and the game runs smoothely and it has a nice turn based system where the turns dont take 20 minutes each.
Multiplayer (10/10)
This is the only turn based game i can stand to play multiplayer it is fun to play and it still runs smoothly and you dont have to wait 5 mins for someone to end take their turn and it runs really nicley it has never hung up on me or lost the connection with anyone i have played agianst.
Replayability (10/10)
This game has greaqt replayability i give almost any game that i even bother to play twice a good rating i get bored with games extremely easyily i got bored with UT 2004 in about a week and i havent played it since. i still play this game though there are a few different maps you can play on that come with the game and their is a map editor so you can make your own so you will never get bored by playing the same ones over and over agian.
Nowadays you can proboly find this game for about $5.00 it is defenintly worth the money.
