Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
Review by MiniVirus2
"Why must the do this to us, why!?"
O, freaking no! Wasn't the t.v. show enough? I guess not. Well it seems that Jellyvision and Disney have found a way to take a some what amusing television show and turn it into a horrendous game. The show who what's to be a millionaire was the original version starring Regis Philbin, but they decided hey we're making good money off this show why not try like successful cartoons and make it into a game.
Well now to get down to business. This games game play, well let's see. It's like any quiz game really extremely fun and very pleasurable to play when your with friends or family but it quickly gets repetitive and easy to memorize the questions. Besides the fact that it's repetitive most of the questions that are ask are for people in their thirty's, not having many newer questions for young player's. The control's for this game are very cut and paste. It seems the creators have found a way of turning a game with about five buttons into a horrendous feat of hand eye coordination. They've placed the buttons all over the key board making it very hard to press any without focusing directly at the key board.
Gameplay = 2/10
Graphics. Well this is a game where graphics are a pointless aspect because it in no way helps the player of ruins the fun of the game, but in the mean time the graphics for this game are pretty damn good in my perspective. This game was released in 1999 I believe and the graphics are quite well done by the standards of those days even. Seriously they have good graphics in a game that has nothing to do with moving or even turning camera angle's like what's the point in that. Now the sound is a different story. You know that old annoying background music that played in the show when the lights changed position, well it's back! Besides the annoying temporary music there's the background music that's always playing and couldn't be anymore annoying unless they included a baby crying.
Graphics/sound = 4/10
Well the play time in this game is very short even if you make it to the million dollars. The time that you actually play is all dependent on your ability to answer questions and to lengthen the games time. Now the replayability of this game is like I said very short once you've played it four or five times your going to run into the same question you had before. Not only will it get repetitive it will also be frustrating for young players because of how far back some of the questions are dated and in this case they'll become frustrated and never want to play the game.
Replayability = 2/10
Well my final recommendation for this game is, buy it if you're looking for small kicks and you're older, but if you're young don't even touch the game!
It scores a 2/10
