"The Wachowski brothers really put their heads together here"

When Shiny Entertainment, Atari and the Wachowski brothers got together, they made this game: Enter the Matrix, and believe me, you would like this game even if you WEREN'T a matrix fan.

Storyline
If you didn't know the storyline, why did you buy the game?!

I'm serious! The game isn't just to be toyed around with! I bought this game because I knew the storyline, and if you don't even know what this game is, I'm not going to bother explaining this to you.

Score: 10!

Graphics
Floating enemies, split colors, and worst of all, CLIPPING!

What the hell happened to these graphics? I kill an enemy, it does ballet in the air! In cutscenes their suits have pink triangles on them, and worst of all, the game does this weird little thing I like to call clipping! If it weren't for the fact that everything else in this game is good, I would flush it down the toilet!

Score: 6

Gameplay
Hacking system? What did you expect?

I really think for those of you who are soft-hearted this would be a bad game for you. You literally blow heads off police officers, kick the teeth into SWAT agents throats, and oh yeah! Lulling cops towards explosive containers and blowing them to bits! No wonder this things is rated Teen! Basically you play as Niobe and Ghost, the captain and the first mate on board the Logos. You have an entire variety of weapons, from the simple .380 shotgun, all the way up to a .50 Sniper Rifle. They have a fighting move tree that includes 5000 fighting moves, so this can be called the most violent game I own. There are several ways of dying, falling a long way, falling into a bottomless pit, and of course, the traditional way of running out of health. I haven't even mentioned the Focus ability! If you hold down Shift, you go into Focus mode, and you can do a bunch of cool flips and things. You also run faster, and bullets have a better chance of hitting. And if that isn't enough: a HACKING system is built right into it! You learn things as you go along, so that's pretty good.

Isn't that all you need for a perfect Matrix game?

Score: 8

Length/Difficulty
Long and hard, but not enough to pin this game against me!

Well, in terms of length, this game is incredibly long, plus you play a pretty much entirely different game if you play with a different character. Difficult?! Of course it should be hard, otherwise this wouldn't be such a fun game, now would it?

Score: 9

Replayability
Of course it should be replayed!

Hitting a home run with replayability can be extremely hard, but luckily these old folks did a really good job with it! Another really cool thing they added was that you can use a sword as a weapon if you finish the game! Isn't that cool!

Score: 8

Buy, Rent, or Flush?

If you are a bit soft-hearted, rent this game to make sure, if you like it, buy it, if you don't, don't buy it. This game isn't bad enough that it deserves to be flushed!
