"1 word...AWESOME"

The newest edition to the counter-strike world may be the best yet. It improved not only on the graphics, there is now a key contributor to seprate source from Condition Zero and the original. Realism. Source has made the CS world realistic by a huge notch, now the blood looks better, the cans actually fly around, the fires burn with fury after a terroist bombing, and the guns look even sweeter (with the exception of the scopes).

Graphics: 10/10

Just when you thought Condition Zero's graphics couldn't be ANY better, they can, what improvement! I really like how the models look even better, and like I said more realistic now then it did before. And the gun designs are mostly FLAWLESS, especially guns like the MP5. The effects of the shots and the brutality of war is even more impressive in source, and deserves a high mark just for the sheer fact it hasn't left what made it good in the first place.

Gameplay: 10/10

CS has always been the master of gameplay, and like a gamespot article for Halo II said, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". It doesn't change much of anything (except for the Caps use in text message), but it's gameplay was perfect already, so who needed an improvement? The easy weapon switch is still here, just press the q and you can go from throwing a grenade, to shooting some brains out with an AK47. I've really liked how it picked off from Counter-strike and CZ.

Tilt: 10/10

Well this is a pretty fricking obvious answer, 10/10 all the way!!! Source will NEVER bore you, the fact you can play online, the sheer addiction will drive you crazy, no game has ever such a fan base, and this is the reason why. The most entertaining PC game, no wait game of any PORT in the history of video game entertainment. Just don't hack, or your going to make people very mad (oh by the way this was completely irrelevant -_-).

Sound: 10/10

The effects of the bulletshots, the new flatone after a serious hit or death, the sound of explosions, and players deaths, have now offically been pushed to being PERFECT. It was near perfect in the other CS games, and now it is. I can see improvement, but that isn't even close to being mandatory, one of the great sets of Source.
