The Sims: Livin' Large

"I'm living large!"

The Sims was an incredibly fun game. So what does this expansion pack have to offer? MORE FUN!!!

First of all, you have to get the original game (duh), but afterwards, buy this first. It's essential, and it gives you so much essential stuff.

There are hundreds of new objects here, literally, and no, it's not just some boring new chairs (as I thought at first). The objects actually DO some special stuff for you. Sure, you have about 5 new types of couches, but some "special" objects, like the "magic lamp," add a whole new SPIN on your life! And the "boring" objects can actually look cool, so there's a reason to buy one of the new beds you are able to get.

Also, there are new customization options for your Sims. With dozens of new clothing selections for every age and gender and the like, you can make your Sims even more diverse than before.

There are also new building techniques you can use when building your house, not to mention new types of wallpapers and floors. It is now conceivable to have a "clown house" or even a "castle." The sky's (your mind) the limit!

Best of all, however, is the introduction of new neighborhoods. Remember in the Sims you only had that one neighborhood that you most likely messed up and turned into a ghost town one week after getting the game? Well, now there are FIVE! So after you mess up the first three (we don't learn our lesson, do we?) You have TWO MORE ones where you can start over! The problem of running out of places to build houses is virtually gone!

Overall, this expansion pack is well worth the price. I'd almost say the new features here are just as fun as the whole original game! The Sims is truly incomplete without this expansion pack. Don't miss out.
