"A star is born- Superstar is a hit expansion pack well worth the buy."

In real life, reaching stardom is not an easy task. In the Sims, reaching stardom is a point that anybody can get to. The Sims Superstar is a very enjoyable game, with many new designs and items that are hits among any Sims fan.

Game play: 9/10
The game play in this expansion is remarkable. With the opening of Studio Town, the region of the game which brings your Sims into the show biz, it brings Sims to a whole new level. it is completely original, for one thing, and there are so many different places to visit just going for the first time. The reason that I took off 1 point was because that it can be slightly complicated the first time to get around, so you have to get some prior knowledge on this game before you actually start playing.

Control: 8/10
While you're in Studio Town, it can be very hard to navigate yourself around the basic areas. If this becomes the case, typically you pack up your bags and head home. Not in this game, though. With the opening of Studio Town it makes it a little easier to move around and enjoy yourself, whether you're auditioning for the first time or watching others perform.

Difficulty: 9/10
Like most simulations, you have to work to achieve your goal, and that's just the way simulation games are. Luckily Studio Town is very generous about difficulty, providing you with on the go tips so you always know where you stand as a celebrity. The real thriller to Superstar is that you always have to be active, or you won't have a chance at the celebrity life.

Sound: 8/10
The sound is average, but nothing special. There are a couple of "Hollywood" tunes that make it a bit more realistic, so that can be fun.

Add-Ons: 10/10
Maxis did a great job with the add-ons. You can see some great guest appearances in this game as well, along with some popular parodies of famous singers and songwriters. Along with the Studio Town is, of course, the new wallpapers, floors, and items, which represent the arts and entertainment of America.

Overall Fun Factor: 9/10
You can have a blast playing this game. It's very addicting and exciting for any Sims fan, and absolutely anybody can have fun playing it.

Would I recommend it to someone? Yes. The Sims Superstar is just a very fun game overall, with little flaws. The game's price is also very cheap; just $20.00 in most places. So if you are looking for a good game this month, The Sims Superstar is a good pick for any age.
