"One of the best Online shooters ever!"

I wanted this game once I heard they were remaking it. I just didn't know if my Computer could play it well. Well it does and I'm so glad I put down the $50 to download this amazing game. I even put down the $15 for CS:CZ after playing this game. It will definitely want to make you play 1.6 after a night with this game.

Graphics-10\10. If you have played CS 1.6(like myself) and then go into source... HOLY CRAP! The visuals are amazing. The images reflect great, great effects when the gun hits a wall or the dirt, and the Models are awesome! Yes it doesn't look like Far Cry but the the technology is more polished. There are no lines running through the models and just the whole cinematic experience is great. And the frame rate is great, I only get slow downs when there are 25+ players on a map.

Game play-10\10. I could play this game all day if my mom would let me:P Valve redid a few tings that annoyed gamers(shield), and made all the guns useful. Its a dream to run just like 1.6. There are two teams, Counter Terrorists and Terrorists with several methods of game ply such as cs maps ( where counter-terrorists try to rescue hostages which the terrorists guard), DE maps ( terrorists plant a bomb which the cts try to defuse), and then some great maps like scoutzknifes and iceworld where you just try and eliminate the opposing force. Also with the new Havok physics engine it expands the word "cover". Everything from chairs to computers can be totally trashed or be knocked over.

Controls-10\10. The controls are perfect. You use the keyboard and mouse and you can customize them to your liking. There is almost no learning curve. Just run, shoot, defuse, rescue hostages with a click of a button. Its great to have a optical mouse for this game by the way.

Sound-10\10. Its just down right Incredible! When you have headphones and they are jacked up high it sounds so realistic. Guns sound like they should with each being different, great sound from players, and even when bullets are hitting wood, it sounds like they are penetrating right through it. And when someone does a HS on you, the sound makes it feel like it just went through YOU!

Average-10\10. This game is just amazing all around. Everything from the Physics to the graphics to the sound.... they are perfect. If your PC can play this, this is a must own. No questions asked. Just go to steam and buy this baby as fast as you can and then play it all the time.

Buy or Rent- BUY! There are countless hours of fun to be played. I have had times where I go play de_dust at 5 pm and then before I know it, its 1 in the morning. A must for anyone that likes the old CS or even just wants to get into the FPS genre. I LOVE THIS GAME!
