Battlefield 2

Review by JackSecunda1234

"Who Says War Can't Be Fun?"

Before I delve deep into the exciting and immersive world of Battlefield 2, I would like to address a couple of problems.

Firstly nearly all servers have a bit of lag, unless you're running on 56k which is extremely doubtful the lag shouldn't be a hindrance to your performance, thus if you do badly it is not because of your internet connection but probably because you're shooting those with blue writing above and ignoring those with red writing above their heads until you find that you have been slightly confused as to the principal of allies and enemies.

Gameplay: 10/10

You spawn in your base which is being attacked mercilessly by enemy helicopters, you sprint to cover and fire at the enemy infantry advancing, suddenly an allied jet flies by, bombing a squad of attackers, with shellshock confusing those around you, you make a break to a helicopter which you use for cover, your commander gives you ammunition and you take it greedily, you mow down another squad and fly to safety as an artillery barrage takes out most of your team, encircling the rest of the attackers one of your team mates makes swiss cheese of them and you fly to the enemy base. The war has only just begun.

Sound: 9/10

The explosion of shells and the sheer clunk of .50 calibre bullets echo around you, the rattling of rifles nearby makes you dart for cover, slowly you hear screeching tank treads, chucking a C4 onto the tank and detonating you revel the noise of the explosive and marvel at the loss of sound soon after as shell shock kicks in.

Graphics: 8-10/10

You dive from a rocket that whizzes by, with a trail of smoke right where you used to be, as you make a break for a harrier jet the sun glare obstructs your vision, as you see again it becomes apparent that you are surrounded by enemies, the muzzle flares blind you as you fall to the ground

Overall: 10/10

From your first headshot with a sniper to you first go as commander, this game will keep you coming back for more and more AND MORE.

Rent or Buy?

Can you even rent PC games? :D
