Quake III Arena

"One of the best games of all time !"

If you were expecting quake 3 to continue on where quake 2 left off then dont get your hopes up because quake 3 has nothing to do with the quake series besides the name and some of the characters. But dont worry even thou this games has nothing to do witht he series this game does better then the rest of the series with its non-stop awsome explsive game play.

Gamplay 10

This is the strong point in quake 3 its not the same as the rest of the first person shooters because while most of the other first person shooters' single player game is an adventure game like Halo or DOOM quake 3 arena's first player mode is a deathmatch type of gameplay so its like your always playing a multiplayer game even if theres nobody else to play with. So now that you know what the single player mode is like well talk about the multiplayer mode. Wellthis is the funnest part of the game. Playing this game multiplayer is probly going to be the reason to buy this game. Well multiplayer does have a deathmatch mode just like the single player the multiplayer one is better because your not fighting against BOTS your fighting against actuall people so this makes the game alot funner. But this game does have more then just deathmatch quake 3 also has a Capture the Flag mode, Free for All, and Team Death Match. But if you also want more multiplayer fun for your quake 3 arena you can buy the expasion pack Quake 3 Team Arena witch has nothing but more multiplayer modes.

Sound 10

Theres nothing cooler then hearing a rocket flying by you just inches away. The games sound effects are VERY realistic and very clear to hear so you never have a problem hear the announcer or the bullets, Grenades, Rockets etc. The music in the game is really cool and really fits this game perfect. There's two type's of music in this game theres a rock type of music and theres this really quiet type of music that you would expect to hear in some kind of goth movie. But both types of music fit the game just PERRRFECTTT.

Graphics 10

Noting that this game is a little bit old and its graphics might be out dated they still look really good. very thing look svery clear down to some of the small things like the cigar in sarges mouth. So yeah theres not much tosay about the graphics then they still look really aswome

Story 6

Okay this is the real fault about this game because there is NO STORY. Okay this is all it is a bunch of warriors like DOOM, the guy from quake 1 , and a bunch of other people get teleported to this killing game. And well yeah thats it!

Replay Value 10

This game never gets old because its not like your playing through a story mode and every time you re beat it you hear the same story over and over again. Since theres not really a story and quke 3 arena is nothing but deathmatch and other types of games this game never looses its replay value.

Now this is where i tell you weather you should buy this game or rent it or something. Well GO AND BUY IT its only $ 10 and this will be your best purchace of the year
