Review by FunInABox

"This game doesn't leave my computer drive."

First off, I would like to say that this is a solid online FPS. It is relatively good priced, and the expansion pack can add even more to the already wonderful bundle of goods this game offers. I recommend it.

Gameplay 10/10
Whoa. That's all I had to say when I started to play this game. As soon as setup was done (a very tedious setup, but well worth it), I joined my first game. You get launched into a 60+ player server, with no lag whatsoever. This game features a variety of weapons and accessories, and different kinds of ammo for each. What you have is realistically added to how fast you move. For instance, you would run faster with a sniper rifle, pistol, and frag grenade. But you would run slower carrying an AT-4, M-4 Rifle , 3 Frags, 3 Smoke grenades, and so on. The weight of each item is different. Then comes the vehicles. There is a huge selection of vehicles. Jeeps, boats, helicopters, it's all here. It's amazing some of the scenes this game can pull off. You can be slowly moving through a dense jungle with a team of 6 other people, with helicopters loaded with men flying over, people driving jeeps all around you, and huge 40+ men battles just to the side of you. This game never skips a beat.

Graphics 8/10
To be honest, I didn't think the graphics in this game were all that great, although the certainly aren't horrible. If you have the ability to raise settings, this game can look stunning, but if you don't, this game can look pretty bad. It all depends on the hardware, really.

Sound 10/10
The sound in Joint Operations is fantastic. You can be miles away (and I mean that literally, the outdoor landscapes are huge and hear the faint sound of huge battles going on. It's really a sight to behold. If you have surround sound, this game would sound even better.

Replayability 10/10
I can't stop playing this game, and I don't think you will be able to, too. There is so much you can do in this game, you can switch classes and still have just as much fun.

Conclusion 10/10
If you have one game to buy this month, buy Joint Ops. And if you have even more money to spend, get the expansion pack, Joint Operations: Escalation, along with it for even more fun. I highly recommend this game.
