"Pretty good sim/rpg..."

I managed to get this game off of wal-mart on-line. It's a nice game so far. Now the review.

Graphics- Well, in a game, graphics don't matter, but here it is. The graphics are decent not the best, but not bad. They defiantly get the job done. They are smooth and have nice animations. They kind of remind me of a slightly better looking Sims 1, which I don't mind I love the style in fact.

Sound- The sound is great, the music is good and sets the mood, the voice acting...well duh! Great, it is the actors from the show that do their own voices, cool huh.

AI- The AI is great, but the path finding can be a pain. I have actually lost a mission do to a nurse that couldn't FIND me. She walked pass me, and then I click on the patient, and then she came to me, and then walked away, I did this again, and this time she stayed. Guess what...I ran out of time on the mission and lost the game, ouch. The path finding isn't always bad though, sometimes it can be really good.

Character Creation- Well, it is kind of poor. However I did have some fun with it. Basically creating your own doctor is simple...REALLY SIMPLE. You can choose a name (type it in yourself of course) then choose a skin color, and sex. Then you can choose from 8 different or so hair colors, eye colors, and scrubs colors (your doctor suit) Over where the model of your doctor is, you can choose from like 5 different faces (I know not much), and if you want a overcoat for your doctor or not. Then you can choose the personality of your doctor and start the game. It takes less time then it sounds, trust me.

Last-ability- Well, kind of poor to, but maybe for the better. There are only 6 episodes, and all together it will take you about 6 hours top. Short, but sweet.

Game-play- Now the meat of the game, you heal patients while maintaining relationships with the other doctors and nurses, as well as keeping up with your basic needs (like the Sims) you have: Energy, Hygiene, and Composure. To keep up with your energy you have to take naps and even eat from time to time, so you can do good on your job, and succeed. To keep your Hygiene up, you have to both wash your hands and take showers, and to keep your composure up, you can have a romantic relationship, play video games, or work out in the gym there maybe other ways, but those are the only ways I have found out. Also, doing good and helping patients, will reward you with experience points, as well as perks to use, and help you with your job. You can also trade or give perks to other doctors or nurses to help your relationship, or get better ones and then use them to your advantage. You also have missions to do, some can even get you fired, so make sure to complete those.

Overall, I think it is a fantastic game for what it is, and a lot of fun. Give it a try for yourself.
