"This game is not half bad, actually."

Graphics 9.2
Hey, you can't complain about the graphics. The golfers and golf courses are all designed in 3D. However, here comes the good part. The special effects that they put into the weather are just plain awesome. The rain, fog and sunset backgrounds are just so realistic. Pretty much everything in this game is made of crisp 3D graphics. Amazing.

Sounds 6.8
The sounds are ok, but there is more room for improvement. However, another thing you can't complain about is that most of the sounds fit right in with the backgrounds. On a sunny day, you can hear the birds chirping, while on rainy days, you can hear the thunder booming across the gold course. But the bad part is after you make a real good putt or something, the crowd screams like there is no tomorrow. It gets annoying sometimes.

Gameplay 6.0
The gameplay, just like the sound, needs more improvement. You can choose a character, choose a course, and play 18 holes of golf while avoiding sand traps and water hazards. But, the interesting thing about the game that it comes with a brand new mode, the career mode. In the career mode, you can design your own character and buy him new clubs, golf ball etc. Also, you must complete match games and stroke tournaments so you can earn money, and then pay for attributes. After getting 25 attributes, you have a chance of going up to the next golf level. The 5 golf levels are amateur, professional, tour, champion and master. Each level features a different challenge for the player. The cool thing is that the golf courses are based on actual real golf courses, such as the TPC at Sawgrass. The gameplay is average, I say.

Controls 6.5
Eh... the controls are actually pretty good. You control how hard you hit the ball with the mouse. But the game is very picky. Depending on the angle of the mouse, it could go anywhere. Your mouse is pointing right, the golf ball will go right, and vise-versa.

Replay Value 4.0
After beating the career mode, it suggests that you play against other human players online, but there problem is that you must sign up for an account on the EA sports website, and there is usually rarely anyone on. After you beat the game, there is barely anything to do.

Graphics 9.2
Sounds 6.8
Gameplay 6.0

Replay Value 4.0
Total Mark 6.5
