"MU Online, no that's not an acronymn"

Intro
After having a great success in Korea, Webzen has decided to host a global server for the U.S. fans. At this time, February '06, the game is quite popular - featuring a MMORPG style gameplay with a Dungeons and Dragons feel.

Graphics 7.5/10
The game has a standard 800 x 600 resolution, which is adjustable. The game features a set camera angle with unique 3-D style gameplay. Overall, the game plays rather smooth, but other than that - it can be a system hog at times, when more players enter a given area.

Gameplay 8/10
MU features a level-up, anticpation-for-new-items gameplay. Nothing quite new or ground breaking at all, but something about MU gives it the mystical addiction feel. The game features very unique environments: From lorencia: A broken down forest-nomad country, Devias: A frozen arctic tundra full of yetis and dangerous ice queens, Noria: A forest country full of mythical warriors and creatures, Atlans: A submerged water country, The DUNGEON: A vast catacomb of insane creature make-up, and Tarkan: A beautifully rendered sky universe. This game offers a wide variety of 100+ standard weapons and items, and three standard classes (Dark Lord and Magic Gladiator at 250 and 220 levels.) which offer unique skills.. from casting deadly spells, to firing flaming metal syringes, to swinging a mighty sword at a ghastly foe. Overall, fresh vegetables to an old stew.

Sound/Music 7/10

This is where the game has flaws: The music and audio is absolutely terrible, although this is a free game - which I can't complain about. The game literally backwashes tracks and sounds over and over, although some tracks are fresh from an expert orchestra, just look and feel and turn off audio when necessary.

Controls 9/10

Possibly the best achievement through this game. MU gives you simple hotkeys and easy to follow directions.. Nothing more to say.

Look && Feel
This game is free, so it's definitely worth a try. If you're that MMORPG Dungeons and Dragons geek (Like me) Then it's worth a try. Give a swing.

Thanks for reading.
