"An action packed shooter games"

Let me just say I am very glad that the Mac version came out so soon, even though i bought it like a year after it came out. This is my first review also. This game really is fun to play. Ok on with my first review.

Story- 5/10 This is the only real fallback of the game. The story isn't very good to say the least. You get transported to the arena by some godlike creature, to battle against other people. Wow, how interesting. Its like something out of a bad science fiction movie. Quake2's story was better. Also when you beat single player you will feel strangely unsatisfied with the end movie.

Sound and Music- 9/10 Very nice. Each weapon has its own sound. The music is a type of hard rock, which is different on each level. But the music can get a little bothersome after a long period of time. If you like it enough, it gives you the web address for the band that did it.

Graphics- 10/10 OH YEAH!!! This is where the game shines. The whole game looks good from head to toe. The game play looks great. Even the short game movies looks great. Its like something out of a movie.

Game play- 9/10 There are many types of game play. Like capture the flag, death match, team death match, ect. A few other ones would have been good too, like some that are like the ones that are in Unreal. But since people are always making mods for this games, there are lots more on the web. The multiplayer games are cool too. Just hook up and blow people away! Also there is no platform separation in the game so Linux, Mac, and Windows players and go head to head in a deathmatch.

Replay- 7/10 Once you get done with the single player mode, you'll be done with that. Once you have beat it there is no real point in playing it again. Now the multiplayer on the other hand has A LOT of replay value. With all the people playing this game you will find a lot of different people to play against.

Overall- 9/10 This game has a lot of stuff to go through, and even when your tired of that stuff, just go on the web and get some more. Such as skins, maps and mods. You can even get tools that let you make your own. The multiplayer games will keep most people hook for a good amount of. This may well be the best shooter game out there yet.
