"Top Notch Computer Quality, Bottom Notch Game Quality"

First off, I'll say this. This IS GameFAQs. But what we have to say about the Mac is not only games. When people say the Mac sucks in general, that just kills me. Mac is just not GAME material. Why do you see it in schools. DEPENDEBILITY. Why do you see it in Universities. NETWORK CAPABILITIES. Why do you see it in Offices? Everything BUT gaming. Mac does have some brand name games, Quake, Doom, Warcraft, etc. But people still think ''Oh it has no games so it sucks why buy it if there are no games.'' There are SOME games. Plus, computers weren't built for the GAMES. So in the following catagories, I'll name stuff not about a game but as if I were rating the way a Mac is built.

Processor: 10 Probably one of the most dependable processors on the market: the G4(also G3). And compatibility with other video cards. For example:

Quake 3 is VERY graphics intesive. But when it comes to the processing, a Macintosh takes over. Timedemo 1 command repeats demos and an enormous rate to see the framerate of the game in the graphics setting. Now, according to PC Gamer Magazine, the Pentium III when the Timedemo 1 command is running with all graphics set to max in a loop for 1 hour, it will crash, and with the Athlon 30 min. Yo, what's your problem. STABLE YOU SAY? Well...here are my test results. I did the same setting with a Macintosh G4 500, and when I had it on I left for my grandma's house for two weeks and came back. Guess what. THE GAME WAS STILL RUNNING!!!

Software in General: 9 Except for the games, the Mac has all the important brand name software avialable that is also available on PC.

Games: 4 Not many games...but the games are good quality and good ones. But who cares about the games, if you get a computer that isn't for games, get Mac.

Macintosh is awesome, but not for hardcore gamers. Buy a Mac if all you want is what the Computer was built for. WORK!!! Don't you see work is what is needed? Games are for spare time, not your whole life! The Mac is Heaven(Good), while the PC is Hell(evil). So get Mac.
