"'NanoBORE""

Nanosaur: The Mac game on nearly every computer country wide. This is probably because it comes default on most of them. This game is fairly fun, but it gets old extremely easy. It presents itself as a great game, but looks can be overly deceiving. This is the story of Nanosaur, a dinosaur, who has to get eggs. No, there was no purpose given.

Game play (7/10): Good fun the first five minutes. You play as Nanosaur, a dinosaur with Jet Packs and weapons. You go looking for five eggs a realm in order to pass to the next. Cheating is way too easy, so you can get an automatic win almost no matter what. You have bombs, missiles, and shields to use as your equipment, with a short and long lasting jet. Going on the ground, you battle dinosaurs like the T Rex, and must blow them up before they take away you health. The levels are also poorly laid out.

Graphics (9/10): Pretty good graphics in this game, especially for being on a Macintosh. Good pixel configuration, sharpness, but poor tone. The shaping and reality of the graphics are good, along with the color diffraction. This was the strongest point of the game.

Sound (4/10) Poor sound effects. When you fire a missile, it sounds like the rustling of grass. And there is NO sound of the raptor walking along the green tinted grass, the sound of his skin burning against the heating lava surrounding a tall volcano. Also, the music is quite bad; fact is, it is non existent. No player motivation, poor game play, and poor sound. Now, moving on…

Controls (5/10) Macintosh keyboard is poor, so what do you expect? Also, the buttons are too spread out, and not the correct buttons you should use the properly fit a good configuration. Of course, it is a keyboard, so improvements can be made.

Replay (1/10) You can replay it, sure. But for only a day or two. It is way to short and easy to be any good or have any real replay value. You have to play the first world over and over, because all the rest is the same.

Overall (2/10) This game was quite poor. Poorly made, with mad sound, controls, and gameplay. Do not bother buying this one. It is a real waste of your time and money. Nanosaur? More like NanoBORE. This one gets a two out of two.
