"Pretty unrealistic, though good at few points."

The Sims, to many, have been the golden creation that EA made. to me, it is a great game, just it is supposed to be about reality, right? yes it is. unfortunately, it does not stick to reality. it sticks to reality like glue sticks to rubber. still, it has made the reality parts very good. but somewhat, the game definitely gets some demotions.

Review:

Gameplay 4/10: this part gets a 4, mainly because of that once you are rich and have everything, what left is there to do? just keep playing? basicly, once you get all the stuff, there is nothing to do. nothing to see, nothing to hear. there is another point that gets some attention.

now, don't think im on something when i say this, but its when you have a baby that bothers me. when you kiss, or lay in bed, you can be asked, ''do you want a baby?'' if you say yes, a baby pops out of nowhere. this is so unreal. why cant it take a true 9 game months for the baby to be born? fortunately, The Sims 2 will make this wish come true.

Graphics: 7/10: The graphics are pretty detailed in some places, but im talikng about the character graphics. when your sim is talking, his mouth doesn't move. when you sim is angry, his facial expression doesn't change. see where i am going? and also, when your sim does something with his hands, the fingers are stuck to each other anc cannot move freely. what im saying is there was room for improvement.

Sound: 7/10: the sound is somewhat good, though sometimes gets REALLY annoying. the sims sound strange, and listening to it time after time gets really annoying. the music from the radio gets really annoying at times too. for this game, i say it is best for you to keep the speakers down.

Summary: This game is not very good. not at all. i would say, if you had the choice, to get The Sims for the PS2 or is it is out by the time you read this, The Sims 2. All i can say is Sims 2 is definitely a lot better than this game, that is for sure.

Buy or Rent? I would uy if you really like the sims, but if you dont want to put up with the constant repitition, then play it at a friends house or something.
