"SimCity 4 is the perfect SimCity game."

Graphics: 10/10
The graphics in this game are superb, much better than any of the other versions of SimCity. The buildings are full 3D, with great texturing and shadows. When it is night in the game, streetlights will light up and many other new effects take place. The graphics in this game are so good that they look like a postcard picture. They are just that amazing. You can now see all of the little Sims walking around in your city, and all the cars in full detail. Every building has it own unique look to it, plus, there are clouds, everything added up is perfect.

Sound: 9
The soundtrack in this game is OK. I like all of the songs, but just like all of the other SimCity games, the music gets repetitive extremely fast. They fixed that though, and now you have an option to put your custom music on the game! Otherwise, this game has great sound effects, when you zoom in on a landfill you hear the birds flying around the trash, when you zoom in on the street, you hear the cars driving by.

Game play/Story: 8
Just like all of the previous SimCity games, you start off with a piece of land and build a city from nothing. It is difficult to get a successful city going, and takes some strategic planning. But once you get a city working right, you never stop. The Sims will let you know what is wrong with a city and what they want, you have all the data you will ever need right there at a push of a button. This is a huge improvement over the other SimCity games. Another improvement I would like to mention is the ability to create your own Sims in this game and have them send reports to you on how life is for them.

Replay: 10/10 The replay in this game is virtually unlimited. You can build as many cities as your heart desires; the fun never stops. If you ever do get bored you can always blow your city up or destroy it any way you want, which makes this game one of the longest lasting games I have ever played.

Definitely buy this game, in fact, go to the store now. This game is extremely fun and a great purchase. You won't regret it. If you have played other SimCity games and liked those you will definitely enjoy this game. This is a game you will be happy with for many, many years.
