2) Secret Laboratory Map

What is the Secret Laboratory?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Secret Laboratory is an even you can visit once a day, just like Tombola
or the Fruit Machine. You must first gather all the Lab Maps however. After
that, you can use it every single day!

What can it do?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Lab Ray can do many things. All of it will alter one pet (which you can
choose). There are listed below in alphabetical order:
Different Colour
Different Colour and Species
Different Gender
Different Species
Less Defence
Less Hit Points
Less Level
Less Movement
Less Strength
More Defence
More HP
More Level
More Movement
More Strength

These stats are taken from IDB. It's based on how likely something will happen
to your pet:

How do you get it and for how much?

You can get the lab ray by buying all the pieces to it. People sell them
on the trading post in full sets for about 230,000 - 260,000 NP. You can
usually buy them individually on the Shop Wizard for less. Each piece goes by
the same name "Piece of a Laboratory Map" and you have to look at the picture
to determine if it's a double or not. The pieces range from a price of 22,000
to 32,000 NP. After buying the pieces, go to the Treasure Map game:

after you do that, you can have your first zap! Remember the consequences
though! Everyday after that, you can do what you just did to get to the
lab ray, or you can just go directly to this link:

If you would like to train your pet as fast as you can and don't care about
it's appearance that much, the lab ray is highly recommended!

What are the other treasure maps?

The non-laboratory treasure maps are different since they're one time use.
They also do not give you access to something, they give you a prize instead.
The other treasure maps are Original, Space, Spooky, and Underwater.

What can they do?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As said in the previous paragraph, they can get you prizes. Each map has a
different kind of prize. All of them also give you NP, including the Lab
Map.

What are the possible prizes?

a) Original
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The original map gives you 5 items and 9,000 - 12,000 NP. There is always one
item with a rarity of 97 and usually 2 or 3 trading cards. Some very good
rarity 97 items include the Dark Battle Duck and Krawk Swashbuckler.

b) Space

The space map gives you 4 items and grants each of your pets a level. It also
gives you anywhere from 3,000 - 12,000 NP. The space map is now retired.

c) Spooky
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The spooky map gives you 9 spooky foods and 9,000 - 15,000 NP. It's still
a relatively cheap treasure map. There are many unbuyable spooky foods.

d) Underwater
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The underwater map gives you 9 aquatic foods and 8,000 - 12,000 NP. Since
Maraqua was destroyed, you'd think these maps would be retired, but they
aren't.

How do you get them and for how much? Are they worth it?

Each of the treasure maps can be bought like the Lab Ray, seperately on the
Shop Wizard or as a pack at the Trading Post. They can also be found randomly
on the site, but don't count on it. Each of the maps however, are different
prices. Here are the prices you'll be paying for the full maps:

Original Piece of a Treasure Map 100,000 - 120,000 NP Sometimes
Space Space Map 210,000 - 230,000 NP No
Spooky Spooky Treasure Map 45,000 - 60,000 NP Sometimes
Underwater Underwater Map Piece 280,000 - 300,000 NP No
Additional Notes: Original and Spooky sometimes give you a good item, but
sometimes they don't. All maps are done at a gamble. The Space Map and
Underwater Maps are now way to expensive for you to pull a profit. Also, the
Space Map is now a retired item so it's price will continually rise, if you
want, you could buy one or two of them to keep in your SDB for a while. They
used to be 3,000 - 9,000 a piece.
