2. About Me and Contacting Me
========================
This section explains my experiences and knowledge from playing Neopets and how
to contact me. I have been playing Neopets for four years now. I hardly ever
read to my pet, basically because a pet's intellegence serves no purpose in
neopets. It, like agility, weight, height, and age are useless in the BD.

3. About Neopets.com
========================
Neopets was created in 1999 by a man named Adam (Neopet's SN: Borovan) and a
woman named Donna (Neopet's SN: Donna). They made the site while in College,
in order for bored college students to have a form of entertainment while on a
net. Yes, you read right, Neopets was made for Adults, and not children.
After a few years on the net, the site became very popular among many kids, and
ever since then, the site has been geared towards the younger audience (even
though they still claim it's still for adults). It has lost most of its appeal
to adults, and is better suited for children. I still go to the site for the
stock market, because it is one of the few games that acually requires
intellect. If you would like to know more about the stock market, please

5. Books FAQ.
========================
-5.1 What is the main use of books?
========================
Books are mainly used to either increase your pet's intelligence, or
to give you a high score in the Book Club and give you a trophy.
Some players even start book galleries in their shop.
-5.2 Do higher rarity books make your pet smarter than regular ones?
========================
No. All books, regardless of it's rarity gives you the same amount
of intelligence as all others.
-5.3 What happens to my book after I read it?
========================
After you read your book to your pet, it vanished completely, meaning
it automatically deletes itself from your inventory, never to be seen
again.
-5.4 Why does the book vanish in a puff of smoke?
========================
In the early times of Neopets, books wouldn't vanish at all. In fact,
you could use them a re-use them as much as you like. And even sell
them in your shop, after they have been used. But as time passed,
Neopets started to use up too much space on their servers so they
had to find a way to save the space. They later decided to make
books only one use. So now, after you are done reading a book to
your pet, it "vanishes" and is gone forever.
-5.5 Can I read the same books to my pet?
========================
No, sorry. Each pet can only read the same book only once. If you
bought more than one of the title, you should either sell it or
read it to one of your other pets.
-5.6 What does intellegence do for my pet?
========================
Currently...nothing. It doesn't effect your pet in anyway, and
has no use in the Battle Dome. It might, however, play an important
part in Neoschools.
-5.7 Does Neoschools require books?
========================
Neoschools hasn't been developed yet, so it is uncertain. Neopets
has been promising Neoschools for the past 3 years now, and they
never make good on their promise. When they say something
will be out "soon," it usually means it is uncertain when it will
be released.
-5.8 What other ways can my pet gain intellegence?
========================
Other than books, you can also use neggs and certain potions. Though,
the Genius Negg doesn't increase your pet's intelligence directly,
it does however give you a random book, after your pet has used it.
The book can be something very cheap, or something super rare and
expensive. It will never give you a retired book.
-5.9 What does (r99) and (retired) mean?
========================
"r99" and "retired" are the book's rarity. All items in Neopets has a
rarity. A rarity is basically a way of telling how rare an item is.
Books that r99 and above are very rare an expensive. Books that are
"retired" will never be released in shops again.
-5.10 How much do books cost?
========================
Books range in price from place to place. In regular Neopet stores,
they are sold for around 900 nps. The ones that have a high rarity
are usually in the thousands. Player shops on the other hand sell
books for a different price than what it is sold in Neopet shops.
High rarity books or retired ones can be sold in the millions.
-5.11 What is the Book Club?

A book club is a game Neopets placed on the site, where players who
have read tons of books to their pet get their name displayed. If
you rank in the top 3, you can get a trophy for your pet's lookup.
Reading books that have a higher rarity doesn't count more than a
a regular book.
-5.12 Are there any books that can give you avatars?
========================
Currently, there are none. But it would be nice if they did. :)
-5.13 How can I tell what my pet's intellegence level is?
========================
If you want to see your pet's intelligence level, then click on
your pet's name, on the left hand side of the screen (under your
username), and it will take you to the quick reference page. The
intellegence will be listed as the last stat under your pet's
name. You can also go to http://www.neopets.com/quickref.phtm.
-5.14 How do I read a book to my pet?

Go to your inventory page:
http://www.neopets.com/objects.phtml?type=inventory
And then click on the book that you want to be read. When the pop-up
window appears, use the scroll down menu and choose which pet you
want to read it to.
