"A great and fun Wrestling game, when released."
Segas best wrestling game is out and it is Monday Night Raw. This game has many different matches that include vs, royal rumble, survial series, cage, and war mathes, and it is up to four players. The game has 12 selectable wrestlers, many modes, and easy to learn controls. The only bad thing is that the game does not have an anouncer. This is the best wrestling game out on regular sega, and all owners should get, it may not stack up to games of now such as Attitude, and Wazone, but that does not mean that the game was not good when it first came out.
Graphics: The graphics are the best ever on a Genesis. The guys look good, and different sizes. The ring looks preety cool, and even has an anouncer table with anouncers, and tv's. The moves look real to. The graphics are the best out for Genesis holders, and good graphics to me most of the time mean that a game is good, because I hate to play games with bad graphics. The is as close to the wrestling experience that is available for Genesis Fans.
Sound: The sound is ok. The lack of an anouncer really makes the sound lack depth. The crowd gets loud and roudy when it should, and the wrestlers all have their own music, but not entrances. The sound of the guys getting smacked and slammed sounds just like they would in life, helping create a great wrestling experience. The sound is ok, from the crowd, blow horns, and so forth, but an anouncer would have made the sound amazingly real for the Genesis system.
Control: The control in this game is solid and reponsive. For the most part you can pick up a controller and start playing, which I think is great that there are no real hard button combinations to remember, except for the finishing moves, and this helps make a game more fun to play. This control is the best out for a Genesis wrestling game.
Bottom Line: All wrestling fans tha5t own a Genesis should get this game. It is a good well balanced wrestling game that is a lot of fun to play.
