3DO Lander
When the second, smaller logo appears press Left Shift and the B button. The game will start automatically, and you must pilot your spaceship to level surfaces, safely. Use A button for regular burns, and C button for extreme burns. The extreme burn will use 75% of your fuel, but you stop moving horizonally, and have a slight rise in the vertical axis. The P button will exit the game, along with completing several of these "missions" also.

Three Lives
When the sceond smaller logo appears, press both Shift buttons (Left & Right), and a confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen.
The level grid will not update your progress when you are using this though.
