"The Naughty Dog you never knew"

Remember the short lived 3DO? Not a lot of people do. I do, and unfortunately decided to try it out again, seeing as I could submit a few reviews to GameFAQs to warn you about some of its games. This has to be the worst 3DO game I've played by far. Considering it's done by the same people who did the great Crash Bandicoot games, you would expect better. I did.

Graphics: 2/10
Ha...hehahaha.... these graphics are laughable, even for this game's time. Basically, Mortal Kombat's graphics on LSD. The animations are horrible and incredibly corny. The fighters don't even look like adequate fighters at all. I think, remembering back to when I was hearing stuff about this game, that most of the ''fighters'' in this game are just digital versions of friends and staff of Naughty Dog. So they ruined graphics with potential because they wanted to fulfill every gamer's dream: To be in a video game. =P

Music/Sound: 2/10
Laughable as well. Your normal ''oof''s and ''Agh!''s are here. The music is incredibly corny as well. When I hear this music, the first thing to always come to mind is the word ''cliché''. The typical ''fighting to the death very intense''-type music. The sound isn't any better. Just as corny as well.

Gameplay: 1/10
Basically, this game plays like crap. The play control is hard to get a hold of at first, mainly jumping, which is insanely hard to do. And the controller you have to use for the 3DO makes it even harder. Don't play if you get frustrated easily.

Overall Entertainment: 2/10
Mortal Kombat, without as much fun (and Mortal Kombat didn't have that much fun to begin with). The gameplay makes it a lot harder to enjoy. I am actually starting to regret reviewing this game, as it was hard to sit through this game long enough to get a good insight into the game. Luckily for you, I did. Otherwise, you'd probably be going out and buying a 3DO and getting this game, unknowingly you would be in for one of the worst video gaming sessions in your video gaming life.

Overall Score: 2/10
The graphics are bad, the gameplay is hard to get a hold of, and it's just not that fun to play. If an experienced gamer were to buy this game, it would most likely just to add to his collection of old games for dead consoles, and not to actually play. If you want to get this game, that should be the only reason why, unless you absolutely LOVE fighting games, no matter how repetitive or awful the game is. But, I did learn one thing from this game: If Naughty Dog can come back and become such an awesome and respected Video Game Development company, then anything is possible within the world of video games. Do I see a *gasp* GOOD Army Men game that isn't an Air Attack?
