"A game where I get to be a redneck car salesman? AWESOME!!"

This game's zany humor will keep you coming back for more every time! Twisted is a great way to kill time or spice up any get together. With so many different scenarios inside the game, it will take a while before this game starts to get boring!

Story: 8
You are first introduced to the host of this ''game show'' and his assistant, whom you will come to know as ''The Woman With 100 Weird Hand Gestures.'' There are six possible contestants, up to four of which can be chosen by the ''audience'' to participate in the game. Who are these contestants? Well, one is a redneck car salesman (the funniest IMO), one is a devout preacher, one is a fortune teller, one is a tough as nails army woman, one is a Henry Winkler wannabe and finally the last one is a living candy dispenser! What prize do they compete for? Freedom from the game itself! ''Yes, our lucky winner gets to take a one way trip to see whatever is on the other side of the screen!''

Gameplay: 8
The game board is vertical. Contestants ascend the spiral by stopping a board filled with numbers and moving lights. When the lights stop, the numbers they land on are added up and that's how many steps you can take. Usually you will land on a ''Challenge Square,'' where the mini game you play is chosen partly by a choice you make and partly by a choice one of the other contestants makes. The other contestant has a chance to botch up what the person playing the mini game is doing by giving him a game he is not good at or by causing him to select a bomb, which makes him/her lose a turn. There are other special events that can happen instead of the contestant playing a mini game. Even though a lot of the mini games are matching/memory games, they are pretty fun and there are other mini games besides these. There are also other types of squares you can land on. One of these squares is the Wheel of Torture. As you spin, you see various fruits spinning around you as well. You have to stop the fruit from spinning at just the right time to match three of a kind. If you can't, you lose a turn and when it's your turn again you have another chance. Yep, if you keep messing up, you will be stuck there for a looooong time.

Occasionally, the gameplay will stop for a ''commercial break.'' These commercials are very short, but are very messed up, so pay attention to see the madness.

Each player can set the difficulty of the mini games to their skill level, meaning that absolutely anyone can play this game, from kids, to adults, to kids AND adults.

Mainly FMV; some smooth, some not as smooth, all funny.

Sound/Music: 10
LOL, the voices and acting are hilarious and the main highlights of the game! All of the characters are funny in their own way, contestants and noncontestants alike. As an added plus, all of this audio is CD quality clear. The music sounds like something you would hear on a real game show and is very fitting for the game.

Control: 10
The mini games aren't hard to navigate through and moving up the spiral isn't tedious at all.

Replay Value: 8
You and your friends will be playing this game for some time to come to see if they saw every event in the game! It's well worth the effort; this game is flat out insane.

Bottom Line?
If you have/can find a 3DO, be sure to get a copy of this game quickly and invite some friends over. The humor within is crazy yet tasteful at the same time, a nice combination. This game is the perfect answer to a rainy day or a big party, which is why I give it an 8.
