Twisted: The Game Show

"A fun game that's...well...twisted"

First of all, the person who wrote the other review, Glacius_, just happens to be my best friend, and I want you to know, I could destroy him in this game. Anyway, Twisted is very...twisted. When you turn on the game (after the annoying 3DO load time of course) it bring Twink Fizzdale on the scrreen, introducing the show and the characters. The six characters are all hilarious in their own way, my favorite is Uncle Fez (a giant PEZ dispenser with a fez cap), and Glacius_'s favorite is Johnny Pow (a sort of tough-guy actor kind of person). Now, for the categories.

Graphics-8/10
It's mostly FMV graphics, but Uncle Fez is 3-D graphics, and he looks good overall. The graphics are okay overall, I guess.

Control-N/A
What's to control? Not much. Mostly selecting answers and moving frames. So I guess it's ok.

Sound and Music-7/10
Pretty good overall, the music gets kind of annoying, but the sound is pretty good, each character has different phrases, and it is not actually repetitive.

Fun-10/10
VERY GOOD. The idea of the game is to get up the spiral staircase. There are 4 types of squares. Challenge squares, which I'd say about 3/4 of it is made of. Next are the green bonus squares, which give you an extra roll. Third are the red bozo squares, which make you lose a turn, and finally, the purple Wheel Of Torture square, which, just for you curious people, makes your character spin around on a whell, over and over, while they are screaming over and over. Whoo.

Overall, the best party game I've played, and for the few 3DO owners I highly recommend this. This is a very cool game, and after you see the Wheel of Torture, you'll be laughing your head off. You'll start laughing even when something unfunny is happening, just because you remembered something funny. It's that good.
