Mission Statement
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
I was looking through a bunch of my older games and was wondering to
myself why I didn't write any FAQs for these classics. So I decided to
write a guide for one of my favorites. Then I noticed that Atari 2600 was
missing guides to many many games, so I have made it my duty to get as
many good FAQs out there as I can for this classic, yet overlooked system.

ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
This is the first version of the FAQ. In just about all cases it will
also be the last version. I have explored the game as thouroughly as I
think is necessary to write a complete walkthrough, and due to the nature
of the system, there generally are no hidden extras to be missed.

ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Basic Math was an old game that was setup to help out younger children
learn their basic math equations and techniques (really?). Although it was
intended for children, a large amount of adults are not able to get all of
the answers correct in most rounds. Basic Math was made to help teach
gamers of all ages how to do math.

ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
There are a few different methods that you could play this game. One
decision the person has to make is what type of equation they would like to
be presented with. The second decision (sometimes) is what number they
would like to practice. The third decision is whether they would like the
game timed. (These are in no particular order, mind you).
   ________
   Addition
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Addition is the basic math principal that everyone should know. It is
counting. Nothing could be more simple than addition. If you do not have
the answer memorized and do not feel like looking at the charts in this
FAQ, simply count with your fingers, and sometimes your toes and you
      should get the answer.
   ___________
   Subtraction
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Subtraction is basically backwards addition. If you have a number and
would like to find out how many numbers are before it, simply imagine
you got one of those fingers cut off, and you should figure it out
fairly well. That is assuming that you are not hospitalized for cutting
      off your finger.
   ______________
   Multiplication
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Multiplication is the first abstract type of math that people will learn
in school. It is basically addition to the second level. If you have 3
times 2 that means that you have three groups of two, or 2 + 2 + 2. The
multiplication is just a more simple connotation of longer math problems
that involve the same number multiple times.
   ________
   Division
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Division is the hardest part of the game, and the hardest to understand.
It is basically like backwards multiplication. 4 divided by 2 means how
many groups of two will go into four. You will have to think much harder
to find many of the solutions. This is especially true when you get to
problems where you have to use decimal points.

Aside from there being different types of math problems that you will have
to solve you will also get to choose what numbers you will be working with
in addition to what type of problem you will be solving.

   _______________
   Selected number
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
In the first four game modes before you will begin, you will be asked to
select any number from one to nine. Whichever number that you choose
will be in ever problem that the games gives you. It will also be the
      top number in every problem.
   ______________
   Random numbers
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
In the last three modes of play, you will not be asked in any way what
numbers you would like to work with. Instead, you will have to work with
every number from one to nine. This mode is for more advanced players.

The game will give you a question that will look like this....

5 The cursor will be blinking, what you will need to
+ 3 do is hit the Up on the joystick until the number
ŻŻŻŻ <Solution spot 8 is showing. Eight, being the answer to the
Ż <Cursor problem. If you have a division equation, then you
would have to have 1 6 for the same numbers (5
divided by three would be 1.666(repeating). Since the game only rounds to
the tenths collumn that would be your answer.

   Addition
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
This chart can be read in one of two different ways. The first way is
finding the first number on the top row and then finding the second
number on the leftmost collumn then find the intersection. This will be
the sum. You could also do the reverse, with the leftern collumn being
the first number and the top row being the second.

| V NOTES AND THANKS |
•============================================================================•

A great deal of gratitude is expressed towards all webmasters on the
Internet that spend their priceless time and hard earned money for the sole
purpose of allowing people from all different walks of life, come together
and discuss and help each other with video games. Without that time and
that money, the video game industry would be nowhere near what it is today.
  Thank You All.
