"The little square dot that could... save the chalice!"

The Atari 2600 is an old video game system invented in the late 1970's. Adventure is one of the older games for this system. It portrays the hero (you) as a little square dot who must save the chalice, and return in to your castle!

Gameplay 10/10
The controls are very simple: press the joystick in a direction or press the button to drop the item in your possesion. This game ranges from anywhere from mazes to castles. There is no stop to the fun in this game. With the ease of mobility, and the difficulty level selection, this game is fun for any age. The way to master this game is to become one with your controller. You need to be able to change directions in an instant. Once you have mastered this, the game will become a whole lot easier. But wait, there's more!

Story 10/10
Like many Atari games, there really is no ''made'' story line, but this is the basic part of it.

You are the determined hero [square dot (you)] who is going to venture into the Black Castle to save the chalice from the dragons and return it to the golden castle. You must search for keys, ladders, arrows, and most importantly - the shining silver chalice!

That's the story, and now all you have to do, is do it!

Audio/Video 10/10
The graphics are state of the art for when they were made. The square dot was a marvel at the time. The only thing better than the dot and the surrounding area, is the flashing colors of the chalice! It makes the game all worthwhile! The sound is good too. The dragon roar, and picking up an item, and especially the sound when you win!

Replay YES!
Like almost all Atari games, it is built to be replayed. Trust me, you will want to play this game again and again and again!

To buy YES!
The Atari games, and especially the consoles are getting harder and harder to find. I have only come across 1 Atari 5200 in the whole time I have looked, and have never seen an Atari 2600 or 7800 for sale. Most Atari games that are left sell for about $1-$2. Very cheap for such a good game. It would almost be more worth your while to buy 30 Atari cartridges as opposed to a $50 CD game!

Verdict EXCELLENT!
If you want to play an adventure (hence the name), then this game is right for you!

Don't delay, play today!
