"A Simple Classic."

Gameplay - 6/10 -

This game has a very simple gameplay, just like it's simple image. You are traveling around through maze like, 2D worlds, looking for keys to open doors to various castles. The actual playing is simple, and so is the game itself. Being very few options of what you can do with the player, the controls are simple to the point where they're boring. But they still work.

Story - 4/10 -

The story of this game is not obviously said. You more or less figure it out as you go along. There is no talking whatsoever, and you're this creature that's going through maze-like worlds looking for keys, defeating beasts and going into castles. The story is never really explained, and it's an imaginary sort of thing. So the plot here isn't really existent, but as you play, you sort of understand.

Graphics and Music - 3/10 -

The graphics in this game are simple, but so is the console. You can't expect much, but I'd at least expect an image I can understand what it is. In this game, you don't even know what the player/creature you're controlling is, nor what anything else is. They could have tried a bit harder to make a distinct figure, which is clearly not present. We've seen figures be made on this console before, but why it's not on this one is a mystery.
The music in this game doesn't exist. It's a very silent game, and only sound effects are truly present. Why this is - We are yet to find out.

Replayability - 3/10 -

Once you've mastered this game, replaying it just isn't as fun. There aren't too many extra variables, so there are no more puzzles to solve. You must be bored out of your mind to get this game out of the closet and play it again. So, this is not really something you'd like to do with this game.

Buy or Rent? - Rent -

This game is clearly a rent. Once you've quickly beaten it, there's not much else to do with it. Unless cartridge-frisbee is your idea of a way to pass time - I recommend to rent this game, and forget about it. This game is only good once, and once only.

Final Thoughts -

This game is good only as a simple rental, and I was easily tired of it after the first few tries. Do what you wish, but don't invite me over to play this game a few more times over.
