"Ready for Checkers?"

Introduction: We all know what checkers is. Checkers, the most popular board game in America, is now available on your Atari 2600 Computer Gaming System! With only a few minor flaws. this game is a hit! Let me give you some more information on this wonderful game...

Gameplay 9/10:

Now, many people know exactly how to play Checkers. But for those who don't, let me give some some pointer tips. The object of the game is to eliminate your opponents pieces. You are the red team and your opponent is the black team. To elimanate pieces, you must "jump" over your opponents pieces with your own piece. There are many tricks like double-jumps and Kingmes. A Kingme is when your piece gets to your opponents base. You conquer them and you are made King. King can move in any direction, and you can have as many Kings as possible. Once your opponent loses all of his/her pieces, you win! This game is very fun, but its not one of those knocks-your-socks-off kind of game. It may get slightly repetitive at times, but after an hour or so, you be begging for more!

Sound 6/10:

The biggest problem with this game is the sound. The problem is that there is practically none, that is unless you are moving your pieces, you hear little bleeps and bloops. I think that the people who are playing should maybe start talking, and maybe when you make a good move, you'll go "YESSSSSS!" I also think some negative sounds, like grunting and "Aw Man!"s should have been placed in the game. I don't consider the sound of the game to be all that important, though, so that's OK.

Graphics 8/10:

The graphics are decent. I wouldn't call them good, but they're decent. They boring, if you ask me. Some more color could have been used. But, don't forget, this is an Atari 2600 Computer Gaming System game, so don't expect state-of-the-art technology and graphics. Overall, they're OK for the time.

Recommendations: OK! The most famous parts of my reviews!: The Recommendations List! I recommend this game to people who enjoy puzzle and board games. People who like to keep things nice and quiet would also enjoy this game. I do not recommend this game to people without patience, new-age fanboys, FPS and RPG lovers, and people with Ereuthophobia.

Overall, This game is good with only minor flaws! This is Aniland, giving Checkers an 8 out of 10
