"An highly addictive action game"
It may not feature an introduction screen or a main menu, but some of the things you will find in this game make it a rather addictive experience, apart from a quite enjoyable one.
At first sight this may seem like a scrolling shooter, but it has some slight features that make it way different than most games EVER seen on each possible console. Usually in this type of game you just need to shoot at the enemies while they are passing by, but in this one you will need to shoot at the meteors in order to destroy them (or only reducing them to smaller pieces, depending on the original size of the meteor) AND destroy the few enemies that randomly appear, in groups of... 1!
Yeah, unlike most of this type of games, enemies around here usually appear alone, or (in worse case) in a group of 2. However, you must try to instantly defeat them, since when they reach the left side of the screen you will lose one of your lives.
That's mainly the game... the nice graphics almost completely fit the game (darn, you can see everything in a quite clear way!) if it wasn't for an ugly bug that sometimes make unusual things appear in the left side of the screen (they don't matter to the gameplay, but they sure don't look nice!). About the sound, this game features surely more effects than most games for this console: you are able to listen to your engine (when you are not shooting), your lasers, the impact of them, a different sound for each type of enemy ship and many others.
Just shooting at meteors (to reduce or completely destroy them) and stopping enemy spaceships may not seem very appealing to the usual player, but if you actually manage to find this game, but having a score bar at the top of the screen and a difficulty that increases as you get more points, people would surely keep on playing to see if anything special (or anything at all!) is expecting you in the minute after.
I must say that in this game I found an amazing surprise, and you will probably find one, too!
