"The discs surely killed this game"

Tron is surely a good movie, we gotta admit it. However, this game was based only on a slight detail of that the movie with that name, and it isn't even a major one.

The game has poor graphics (c' mon, your characters even looks exactly like his opponents and it doesn't even feature a main menu!) and the only way to even figure out the current energy of your character is by watching his colour, which seems to change as he is hit. Which color represents each amount of health, I have no idea.

Around this game you will have to throw your disk at the enemies as they appear on screen from its sides, but the controls are just weird. I mean, you can press up, down, left and right to move your character, but if you press them while walking in a certain direction, you will throw your disk in that same direction, which sometimes is hard to manage: you may be walking down, with an enemy following you from behind, and if you stop to attack him you will be hit. What to do in such a case? No idea.

Plus, all you have to do is EXACTLY what I said above, with no real target at the end. Truly, you could be sending your discs forever and the game would never end, as there is nothing to accomplish across the game.

On top of the screen you will see some numbers, which is just your current score, and increases by hitting your enemies with the disk. This could increase the replay value of the game, as you could challenge your friends to see who gets a better score, but since they are somehow hard to be seen, a player may easily lose the will to do such thing.

Concerning the sounds, they are just heard when you hit an enemy, when you throw your disk and when you lose. About the music, there is none, mainly granting you the chance to listen to your favourite discs while playing it.

Truly, I have to say that not even the fans of the movie will enjoy this game, and it would also be a good idea for you to stay away from it.
