"The greatest game ever made."

Introduction
This game is an instant classic. From the moment you boot it up on this poorly designed wooden system with what is most likely the worst controller ever made, you are memorized. The opening cinematic isn't the longest or the most in depth, but the second you see it your jaw drops in amazement. It says METEORITES in a pretty basic blue font with 2 Meteorites in the background of space. Anyway, enough about that, let's move onto gameplay.

Gameplay and the Rest
This is the funnest game ever made in the history of videogames. Not only was it great for it's time (still great now), but set the standard for future videogames such as Grand Theft Auto III and Ocarina of Time. Basically, what you do is destroy Meteorites. Now some may say this is an Asteroids ripoff, but it isn't. Mainly because you are destroying Meteorites. The level of originality it went with this path is amazing. This is one of the first games EVER to feature such a thing as destroying Meteorites. Think of all the games that have used this as a stepping stool for their plot. Just think.

Anyway, it's a fairly hard game, for you see, it isn't easy. But if it was easy, it wouldn't be hard, and that's why I think it's a hard game, you understand? Another thing, you are destroying Meteorites, which are supposed to be in Earth, but you are flying around in space, what a plot twist. You would never see a plot twist like that in a game such as Asteroids. Anyway, as much for the story, you can pretty much make it up for yourself, which is what sets this game apart from Final Fantasy. Let's say you are sitting in the dark, playing this game, but there's no real story it hits you with. Just close your eyes and pretend you are in a spaceship, flying through space, destroying the evil bastards that are Meteorites. Keep in mind Meteorites are probably the greatest thing ever formed by the universe, and destroying them should be considered a sin, but going to hell is a small price to pay for the enjoyment you get out of this game.

As for graphics, it hits you with a simple black and white environment, with some green for the Meteorites mixed in. Did I mention the title screen had blue text? Yeah, I did, how cool is that.

Replayability, I could honestly play only this game for the rest of my life. If there was only one thing in life I could choose to do, it would be to play this game, anything else would be like watching alcohol dry on a marble cabinet.

There isn't much else to say about this game though, the price is very hefty, going for over $100 on eBay, most likely due to the fact that it's extremely rare and one of the greatest games ever created. I urge you, if you happen to find a copy of this, mount it on the wall and worship it for the rest of your life, because you might not be worthy of playing such a perfect game.
