Super Skateboardin'

"One of the worst representations of skateboarding, EVER."

Being a skateboarder myself, I decided to try the game ''Super Skateboardin''', to see how good it is. Turns out this game is probably the worst game ever made in the history of mankind.

Story - 2/10
This is probably the most idiotic story ever made. Theres a big factory, and you must turn off all of the lights in it by skating around and hitting every switch. And, somehow, you're on a skateboard, which stupid, because, in any situation, riding a skateboard anywhere near a factory will have the cops called on you within 5 minutes. I would know, from experience.

Graphics - 1/10
I must say, these are probably the worst graphics ever. Even for the Atari 7800, this is probably the ''Thrasher: Skate and Destroy'' of the Atari 7800. (Thrasher's graphics were a piece of crap). The graphics are blocky and really really bad. And the colors are bland. I'd rather look at a blue screen on my TV than the graphics in this game.

Sound - 5/10
The sound is the only average quality in this game. There are sounds for about everything you do, including when you push your board, and then when you ''ollie'' (the action of getting ''air'' (the action of going up from your board.) The sound is the ONLY average quality of the game.

Gameplay - 1/10
Finally, the gameplay. I must say this is the most boring, repetitive game ever made. What you do, is you wander around the factory, and you switch off lights. Whooo, big fun there. Even I could've made something better than this.

Control - 3/10
The control is just as simple as the gameplay. You move around with the directional keys, and you press a button for ollieing. Boring. Theres really nothing else to it.

Replay Value - 1/10
It's just the same old thing... skate around and hit the lights, skate around and hit the lights, skate around and hit the lights. It's the most repetitive game ever made, only beaten by pong.

Buy or Rent?
You'll be lucky if you can rent it, but don't even try. If any blockbuster in your area rents Atari games out, check the date on your calendar.

This game gets a 2/10 in my book... it's stupid, because why do you even need a skateboard in this game? It's completely useless. Never, EVER, EVER, buy this game unless you want me to come over to your house and personally beat the crap out of you. That is all.
