IV. INTRODUCTION
====================
Sega Rally 2 is the first racing game released for the Sega Dreamcast.
The game shows detailed graphics of the cars and the track, it's pretty
impressive that little details are thougth off like the explosions in
the exhaust or when mud/snow goes to your clean car. But what makes
Sega Rally 2 different, like Daytona or Gran Turismo, is the game is
based on off road racing or rally racing. Rally racing consist of a
team, the driver and navigator, which they follow a race course based on
the directions of the navigator. However, the game is different from
the real race because the player is against other drivers to become no.
1 wherein in rally racing, each group drives the course by themselves
without the other team in the track. For more info on rally racing

V. GAMES MODES
===================
1) Arcade: 'nuff said
a) championship mode
b) practice mode
2) 10 Year Championship:
the player starts off in the 1st year and everytime a year is finished,
the next year becomes accessible to play. The player can adjust
what tires to use, change the steering or breaking,and even change the
voice your co-driver =)
3) Time Attack:
to gloat to your buds about your best time.
4) 2 Player Battle:
a) 3 or 5 laps
b) Time Lag
5) Network Play:
This involves registering in the SEGA server. You choose a car and you
choose your team. I'm trying it for now to see if it really works.

VI. THE CARS
===============
Sega Rally 2 features real cars that participated on the World Rally
Championship. There are 8 selectable cars in the beginning and 12 extra
cars when you finished the arcade (7th or better in easy/normal and 1st
in expert) or finished 1st in each year in the "10 year championship".

VII. SECRETS & SUGGESTIONS
==============================
1) When playing the "10 year championship", it is best to check your
tires before the race because with the right ones, you can prevent the
car from slipping and losing time or gain valuable time in finishing the
race.
2) Having trouble finishing the arcade mode?? Try changing the
difficulty to easy in the game options =) You will still get the extra
car whatever difficulty the arcade is set on.
3) If you DO get the extra car in the arcade mode, use that car in the
"10 year champoinship". The Renault Maxi Megane, in my opinion, have
the best handling of all the cars available.
4) From H. J. : "Although it is possible to finish first in without
changes to your car, it becomes increasingly difficult as years
progress...I made adjustments to suspension and gear ratio in the wet
desert or muddy tracks ( Change the gear down and loosen suspension
according to your driving style and car).
5) From H. J. : "When you finish first after 4 tracks in the 10th
year, a super track opens which you have to finish first in to access
the bonus car for that year. The super track is a version of recent
innovation rally racing where 2 cars are able to approximate racing head
to head. (I haven't tried it yet)
