DISCLAIMER
==============================

This guide has been made for the Japanese and European version of
Phantasy Star Online Ver 2 for the Sega Dreamcast. This is to help
non Japanese speaking people get the Hamburger Mag and other items
from one of the downloadable quests. I assume you (the player) knows
how to download the quest, and that to play the quest the language
setting must be on Japanese.

This is my FAQ and I will not allow anyone to post it on their web
site
without my permission. If you wish to post this FAQ on your site, you
must
follow these simple conditions;

a ) You email me saying you will respect my wishes and tell me when
and
where you wish to post this guide.
b ) This FAQ is posted UNCHANGED.
c ) Use the most current version available, by emailing me
periodically
asking for the most up to date guide.
d ) If I ask you to remove this FAQ from your site, you will
immediately do
so.
e ) This FAQ is not to be sold. Its is immoral and most likely
illegal.

I thank anyone who wants to post this guide on their site, as long as
they
follow my conditions.

The only sites that have my permission to use this FAQ are as
follows;

1 ) UGVD PSO Yahoo Group
2 ) Game FAQs

The URLs for these sites are in the CREDITS section.

(There are some sites that asked me if they could put this FAQ on
their site, but sadly I have lost their URLs. If they want their
sites to be acknowledged on this FAQ then just email me)

I have done this quest many times now, and what difficulty (normal,
hard, very hard or ultimate) you choose to do this quest on makes no
difference to the items you will receive. Once you have got the items
on one difficulty, you must choose a different difficulty to get more
of the items, as your character can only get the items once on each
difficulty. I admit that some of the steps to getting the items may
be unnecessary or wrong, if so please help me fix the fault by
emailing me.

Sonic Team Changes To The Quest
==============================

During the few weeks after this quest was released, Sonic Team
constantly updated this quest (the quests true name is Sunset On The
Secret Base according to www.mamak-int.com) giving the players 6 more
items to collect and thus enabling the player to get 7 items in total
from this quest. The items that can be found in this quest are as
follows;

1. Hamburger Mag
2. Angels Wing Mag
3. Devils Wing Mag
4. Chu Chu Mag
5. Kapu Kapu Mag
6. Chu Chu Fever Armour (0 slots)
7. Game Magazine

I advise you to collect these items in the following order as some
can only be collected once certain in-quest conditions are met;

1. Hamburger Mag
2. Angels Wing Mag, Devils Wing mag (And Chu Chu Mag if you are a
Robot)
3. Game Magazine
4. Chu Chu Mag, Kapu Kapu Mag, Chu Chu Fever Armour

Notice that there are 2 places to get the Chu Chu Mag, but Non Robot
characters can only have 1 place to get them.

==============================
Differences Between JP And EU Quest
==============================

After the release of the EUROPEAN version of PSO Ver 2, many were
shocked to find that they could download the JAPANESE quests even
though they pay nothing, while the US owners have to pay to get no
quests (ha ha ha... sorry). Due to this I have added this small
section to guide the EU players of some slight differences to their
quest. As explained above, Sonic Team kept releasing new versions of
the quest, adding new items as they went. Sadly for EUROPEAN PSO Ver
2 owners, they are only able to download the second update instead of
the most recent update (update 4 I think) and thus they can not get
some of the items. The only items they can get (as far as I know) are
as follows;

1. Hamburger Mag
2. Devils Wing Mag
3. Angels Wing Mag
4. Chu Chu Mag (robots only)

Due to this, the only sections worth any interest by EUROPEAN PSO Ver
2 players are as follows;

>> Hamburger Mag Guide

>> Angels Wing, Devils Wing Guide (And Chu Chu For Robots)

HAMBURGER MAG GUIDE
==============================

FOREST 1

In the first room of the forest, walk towards the rappy and a
automatic
conversation will begin. Use the top answer on both of his questions
and
move on clockwise through the forest. After a while you will be in a
room
with 7 rappys at one end, go near them and another automatic
conversation
will begin. After the chit chat continue to the next room and look
for the
rappy that is trapped behind a laser fence. Go near him and once
again, you
will enter a conversation. After that head to the next room which has
a few
mines in it (the mines are avoidable and as long as you go the right
way,
you will not get hit by them). Press the time switch and quickly run
down
the middle route to the warp at the end. Enter the warp and
immediately turn
round and enter another warp. Once you exit the warp, run straight
ahead
towards the doors and continue to the next room. You will see a laser
fence
switch that will free the trapped rappy. Once the switch is turned
off, head
in the warp behind the switch and return to the now free rappy. After
talking to the rappy he will gladly help you by moving some objects
blocking
the warp to forest 2, show your appreciation by entering the warp.

FOREST 2

In the first room run down the slope and talk to the rappy hiding
behind the
boxes. After the brief conversation, go and press the switch in the
same
room at the top of the slope (notice that there is still a locked
door in
this room. Your immediate objective is to run all the way round to
the room
on the other side of the locked door). Once you have made your way
round
Forest 2 and have reached the desired room, talk to the rappy on the
bridge
that also has a laser switch on it. You will receive a item from this
rappy
and now you have to go back to the first room in Forest 2. Once there
talk
to the rappy at the bottom of the slope again and he will ask you a
question, choose the top answer and you will receive yet another
item. Now
work your way round to where the Boss Warp to the Dragon usually is
(notice
in the previous room, that there is a rappy blocking a warp), and go
talk to
the rappy standing on a pad behind the laser fence. After a short
cutscene,
the music will change (the music is apparently from NiGHTs)
signalling the
end of the quest, unless of course you want to get the Hamburger Mag.
Head
back one room to where the rappy was blocking the warp, and notice
that the
rappy has moved. Enter the warp and pick up the shiny object behind
you. Now
proceed to the largest room in Forest 2 (this room has 5 rooms
connecting
off it), and proceed to the smallest room connecting off it (which is
also
the smallest room in Forest 2, and occasionally has the huge pillar
that
unlocks the ruins in it). You will find a few boxes and a rappy (for
identification purposes, lets call this rappy - RAPPY 1).

Talk to this rappy and it will ask a few questions, answer in the
following
order; 1, then 2 (1 always being the top answer, while 2 is either
the
middle or the bottom answer depending on how many answers you can
choose
(the max. amount of answers to choose from is 3)).

After that, enter the room opposite the room you were previously in
(identifiable by having a large lake filled with rappys, and a single
rappy
on the bank of the lake) and talk to the rappy on the side of the
lake (for
identification purposes, lets call this rappy - RAPPY 2). He will ask
a few
questions and answer the following; 1, then 2.

Then talk again to RAPPY 2 straight after that and this time answer;
1, then
1, then 1.

Then return to RAPPY 1, talk to him and give him these answers; 1,
then 1.

Return to RAPPY 2 and give him these answers; 1.

After that short chat return to RAPPY 1, and give him these answers;
1, then
2.

Head back to RAPPY 2 and give the following answers; 1 then 3.

Go back to RAPPY 1 and say the following; 2.

Straight after, talk again to RAPPY 1 and this time say; 1, then 2,
then 2,
then 1.

Return to RAPPY 2, have a quick chat and go and finally talk to RAPPY
1 for
the last time. After a while he will finish chatting and you should
check
your inventory. You will notice that you will have the splendid
Hamburger
Mag!

Angels Wing, Devils Wing (And Chu Chu For Robots) Guide
==============================

(when you are playing as a robot character, you can also get a Chu
Chu Mag from this rappy)

Head to the room that contains the warp to the upper level of FOREST
2, this room also has 6 rappys in the middle of the room. Ignore the
rappys and head towards the back of this room where there are some
boxes. By the boxes is a single rappy. Start talking to this rappy
and after a while 2 options will pop up (3 if you are a robot
character). These options relate to the items that the rappy will
give you. Choose the top option and you will receive a Angels Wing
Mag, choose the bottom option and you will receive a Devils Wing Mag.
If you are a robot character, the options are slightly different. For
a robot, choose the top option and you will receive a Angels Wing
Mag, choose the middle option and you will receive a Devils Wing Mag
and choose the bottom option and you will receive a Chu Chu Mag. Once
you have chosen your Mag choice, the rappy will ask you to confirm
this choice. 2 options will appear, the top one saying you want that
desired Mag and the bottom choice takes you back to select your
choice of Mag again.

Game Magazine Guide
==============================

Once back on Pioneer 2, head towards the principles room. Talk to the
FOmarl behind the left desk and choose option 2 (it has the word CUP
in it). After a small cutscene, talk to the man behind the middle
desk (where the principle usually is) and he will give you the Game
Magazine.

==============================
Chu Chu Mag, Kapu Kapu Mag, Chu Chu Fever Armour Guide
==============================

After exiting the principles room, notice the boy opposite you on the
left. Talk to him and he will gladly give you a Chu Chu Mag, Kapu
Kapu Mag and a Chu Chu Fever Armour.

FAQ
==============================

1 ) Where do I find this quest?

This quest is currently only available on the JAPANESE and EUROPEAN
versions of PSO Ver 2. Change the language setting to JAPANESE and go
online. First thing you will see when you have connected, is the Ship
Select/ Download screen. Go to the Download section and a you will be
greeted by 1 line of text. Select this and it will show the available
quests. Find the quest that has the numbers 10 and 30 in its
description. Click on it and it will start to download the quest. It
will then bring up the VMU selection screen and then you should
choose which VMU to save the quest to. Once it has been saved it will
ask you if you want to save the same quest to a different VMU.

2 ) I don't want to download it from the download screen. Can I
download it
somewhere else?

I have checked http://www.booyaka.com and it currently does not have
the
quest, so sorry I am unable to help here.

3 ) I have the AMERICAN version of PSO Ver 2. Even when I change the
language to JAPANESE I cant download the quest, HELP!

Currently, people with the AMERICAN version can't download the quest.
Even
if the quest where to be uploaded to Booyaka (or any other VMU save
sites),
and people with the AMERICAN version download it expecting it to
work, it
probably wont (AMERICAN users have been downloading the Fire Dome
quest
(where you get another new Ver 2 Mag) and have found that it wont
work with
their version of the game). Due to this, I doubt that the Hamburger
quest
will work with the AMERICAN version (you will just have to wait for
Sonic
Team to translate the quest).

4 ) So even though I'm using the EU copy of PSO Ver 2, I can get this
quest?

Yes, you can but only the second version of the quest.

5 ) I'm using EUROPEAN PSO Ver 2 and cant get all the items you
mention, why?

This is because (as said above) you get an older version of the
quest, before some of the other items were included. The only items
you can get are the Hamburger Mag, Angels Wing Mag, Devils Wing Mag
(and the Chu Chu Mag if you are a robot).

6 ) I'm using the US copy of the game, why don't we get the quest?

Yuji Naka only knows, though they probably hate US players cause they
believe they mostly cheat and would probably hack the items anyway.
And also they just want your money.

7 ) But us US players are superior to the rest, give us the quest!

Superior? Most of you can hardly do C mode without saying w00t and
stopping in the middle of the game to have a PSO picnic.

8 ) Can I have your serial and access numbers?

Why would I want to do that?

I'm a avid PSO Ver 2 player, who praises Sonic Team for making such a
wonderful game. I'm a member of 1 PSO clan, UGVD PSO. UGVD players
meet on Titania 11 or Titan 11. UGVD are very good natured, they do
not look kindly on cheating or using dupes as it defies the point of
the game, and we never steal from other PSO players.

I currently have 6 PSO characters. My character names are as follows;

HUmar A.Wesker
HUcast Billy Koen
HUnewearl Fat Cow
FOnewm Bill Gates
FOnewearl Eowyn
HUcast Sukkotorando
