1: Introduction

Sonic Adventure 2 is probably the best Sonic game to ever hit the market.
When it first came out, I wasn't really looking forward to it. Now that
it's been out, I can't stop playing the game. Sonic Adventure 2 brings back
the memories of Mario 64. What I'm trying to say is that I've spent nights
trying to get special ranks and uncovering all the secrets in the game. I
usually never write strategy guides for games like this because they are way
too time consuming, but I figured that I would make one for Sonic Adventure
2 for two reasons. Reason one is that I love this game and I wanted to help
out all the people who needed help with this game. The other reason is when
Gamecube comes out, I'm going to make a guide for Luigi Mansion so I thought
that this would be a great start to start practicing writing guides for this
kind of genre. This guide is probably the most indepth guide on the net
that you can find for Sonic Adventure 2. If you take my guide with you
while playing the game, you'll be so bored because I talked about everything
in each level. You're probably going to think I'm crazy after reading my
walkthrough because it tells you exactly where to go and exactly what you
will see while you're passing through the level. How long did this guide
take you a lot of people will ask. A long long time is my response. So sit
back, grab something to drink, and start reading this guide for Sonic
Adventure 2. Oh yeah, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions

2: Prologue
---------------------------------
It was just another ordinary day...until Sonic, hero of justice, is accosted
by a secret military force code-named G.U.N.
Escaping the confines of a high-security helicopter, Sonic leaps down into
the city streets in an effort to flee from his captors. Suddenly, a
mysterious black hedgehog appears in front of him, grasping a Chaos Emerald
in his hands. Meanwhile, across the globe, unexplained incidents occur
following the declaration of world conquest by Eggman himself.
One aware of the connection between Shadow and Dr. Eggman, Sonic begins his
quest to stop their evil plan, helped along the way by his old friends:
Tails and Knuckles.
While searching for a top secret weapon known only-as "Shadow," the evil
genius, Dr. Eggman, penetrates the security of a high-level military base.
Deep inside the compound, Dr. Eggman discovers that the weapon is actually a
black hedgehoh claiming himself as the "ultimate life form," a creature
known as "Shadow."
Shadow invites Dr. Eggman to Space Colony ARK and reveals the Eclipse Cannon
- an enormous weapon capable of destroying the world, nore than enough to to
entice the evil genius to help out Shadow in his quest to conquer the world.
Just as they begin to revel in their plan for destruction, the villians are
startled by a menacing bat name Rouge who offers her help as well.
Thus, the plot to conquer the world begins...

If you don't want the game ruined you shouldn't read this strategy guide.
This guide has the whole story in it and tells you exactly what happens in
every level. If you want to play through the game by yourself, then I
suggest that if you get stuck you should just consult that section of the
walkthrough. If you skim down any farther you will get in to other things
like cutscenes and bosses. I figure I should make this warning for all the
people who don't want the game ruined for them. But then again, if you use
a guide while playing a game then you are cheating already so the game is
basically ruined because you didn't complete it by yourself. Alright,
enough with this.

Action Button
The B button (also X Button) is called an Action Button. Its function
changes automatically according to the situation around the player, and will
be displayed in the Action Window at the top right. For example, you can
call small animals hiding in the Action Stages by whistling, or squeeze
through narrow gaps by somersaulting. Also, when you have more than one
choice of actions you can take for specific situation, press Y to cycle
through the choices.
Jump Pack
Sonic Adventure 2 is compatible for use with the Jump Pack. Insert the Jump
Pack into Expansion Socket 2 of the Dreamcast Controller.

6: Characters

Here are all the characters in the game with descriptions of each of their
actions and a brief description of each character.

Sonic The Hedgehog
================================
The fastest hedgehog on earth has a little competition. Mistaken for an
escapee, Sonic is being chased by a secret military organization. He'll
have to catch up with the mysterious black hedgehog in order to thwart Dr.
Eggman's latest plan to conquer the world.
Actions Common To Sonic:
Sommersault (B)
You can break wooden containers or squeeze through very low or narrow gaps.
Homing Attack (A while airbone)
You can attack the enemy nearby. You can even attack series of enemies
continuously.
Spin Dash (Hold B then release)
You can build up your momentum and start rolling at supersonic speed.
Grinding (jump onto the rail)
You can jump on the rail and grind. While grinding, you can jump (A) or
crouch to accelerate (B). Use the left and right angles on the analog to
balace yourself.
Light Dash (B near the ring)
Stand next to the rings and an action window will be displayed. Press (B)
to run at high speed toward the rings. You must obtain a specific power-up
item in order to be able to preform this action.

Shadow
================================
The black hedgehog that resembles Sonic. Shadow is the ultimate life form
created by Professor Gerald. Shadow has a special ability called "Chaos
Control," which allows him to warp time and space using Chaos Emeralds.
After telling Dr. Eggman abot the existence of the Eclipse Cannon, Shadow
encourages Dr. Eggman to join up and help conquer the world.
Actions Common To Shadow:
Sommersault (B)

Miles "Tails" Prower
================================
This fox boy with two tails can create mechanical inventions that rival
those made by Dr. Eggman. This time, Tails pilots his latest walker,
"Cyclone." He will support Sonic completely with his mechanical abilities.
Actions Common To Tails:
Volkan Cannon (B)
You can destroy wooden containers.
Propeller Punch (B near the enemy)
You can use this weapon only when an enemy is in front of you. Utilize this
in 2P versus play to blow your opponent away.
Lock-on (Hold B)
Hold B to display a sight laser. Then use the Analog Thumb Pad to lock onto
the enemy. You can even lock onto multiple enemies.
Lock-on Missle (Release B)
While the targets are locked on, release to fire missiles. Destroy multiple
enemies for even more points.
Hovering (Hold A)
You can hover yourself to land slowly or jump to the distant ground. You
must obtain a specific level up item in order to be able to preform this.

Dr. Eggman
================================
Alo known as Dr. Robotnik, Dr. Eggman is a self proclaimed genius. He is an
evil scientist with an IQ of 300. A renowened authority on robotonics,
Eggman joins forces with Shadow and Rouge in a plot to conquer the world.
Once he has collected all the Chaos Emeralds, he
plans to take caere of his lifelong rival, Sonic, once and for all.
Actions Common To Dr. Eggman:

Knuckles The Echidna
================================
The guardian of the Master Emerald, Knuckles takses his residence on the
floating Angel Island. He is known as a treasure hunter, but is a skilled
martial artists as weel. Ever since the Master Emerald was shattered,
Knuckles has made it his mission to collect each and every shattered piece.
Actions Common To Knuckles:
Punch (B)
You can break wooden box of defeat the enemy in front of you.
Glide (Hold A while airborne)
You can glide yourself to land slowly or to travel to the ground in the
distance.
Climb Wall
While gliding, bump into the wall to stick onto it. In this position, use
the Analog Thumb Pad to move around.
Swim (B to dive, A to go up)
You can swim underwater. Don't forget to come up to the surface, as you
cannot breathe underwater.
Dig (Jump, then B)
You can dig the ground to uncover hidden items. While sticking to a wall,
you can dig the wall by simply pressing B. You must obtain a specific
power-up item in order to beable to preform this action.

Rouge
================================
As a hunter who devotes her life to the pursuit of jewels, Rouge is
determined to make herself rich. She is passionate about her work, and once
she's set her sights on a new treasure, she stops at nothing until she gets
it. In order to collect the many pieces of the Master Emerald, she offers
to help Shadow and Dr. Eggman - but her true identity remains a mystery to
them both.
Actions Common To Rouge
Kick (B)
You can break wooden box of defeat the enemy in front of you.
Glide (Hold A while airborne)
You can glide yourself to land slowly or to travel to the ground in the
distance.

Amy Rose
================================
A cheerful girl full of passion who loves to chase after Sonic wherever he
goes. Learning that Sonic was arrested by the military troops, she comes to
Prison Island alone. She has a strong sense of intuition and a pure heart.

Maria Robotnik
================================
A beautiful and mysterious girl that exists inthe memory of Shadow, Maria is
the granddaughter of Professor Gerald and a cousin of Dr. Eggman.

Professor Gerald Robotnik
================================
A brillaint scientist and Dr. Eggman's grandfather. Noted as one of the
most brillant minds of all time, Professor Gerald designed the world's first
space colony "ARK." He was also involved in the ultimate life form:
"Project Shadow." He later disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

7: Basic Gameplay
---------------------------------
Before starting reading the walkthrough you should know the basics of Sonic
Adventure 2. Here I go over all of the basics in the game.
When you start the game up you'll have your chocie of the Hero Adventure or
the Dark Adventure. At the start of the game, there is only two adventures
that you can play. Choose the Hero Adventure. The flow of the game goes as
Stage Introduction - Action Stage - Chao World - Next Stage. If you get the
key to Chao World then you get to go to Chao World. If not, then you just
proceed onto the next stage.
Rings
Within the game field, there are several rings. Excluding Tails and Dr.
Eggman, all the other characters can survive damage inflicted by enemies
only so long as they are carrying at least one ring. When attacked, these
characters will lose all the rings they were carrying. If a character is
attacked while carring no rigns, they will lose a life. If the character is
skilled enough to collect 100 rings, they will receive an extra life. For
Tails and Dr. Eggman, collecting rings will recover lost HP little by
little.
Point Markers
On High-Speed Action and Lock-on Shooting Stages, there are several point
markers place throughout the level that you can use to save your character's
time and position within the course. If your character loses a life, the
next life will start from the location of the last point marker touched with
the time that was logged when the marker was originally touched. If you
have a certain amount of rings when touching the point marker, you will
receive a bonus item.
More Than 90 Rings.........Shield
More Than 80 Rings.........Speed Up
More Than 60 Rings.........20 Rings
More Than 40 Rings.........10 Rings
More Than 20 Rings.........5 Rings
Battling The Bosses
After clearing some stages, a "Boss" will apeear. The life gauge of the
boss will appear at the top right. Find its weaknesses and attack the boss
to deplete its life gauge. If you deplete its life gauge completely, you
will win the battle.
Pause Screen
Press the Start Button while the game is being played to pause the game and
bring up a Pause Menu. On hunting stages (Knuckles and Rouge), the hints
you have obtained will be displayed as weel. Use L/R to cycle through
hints, or press and hold both to stop cycling the hints.
Continue = Resume Gameplay
Restart = Start over from the beginning of the stage
Exit = Quit game
Chao Containers
Among the containers that appear on each stage, there are three light blue
containers called Chao containers. The first Chao container contains a Chao
key, which is a key to the Chao garden. The second contains small animals.
What is inside the third one? You'll just have to find out for yourself.
Technique Points
Technique points are awarded in different ways for each type of stage. For
Sonic and Shadow, you can earn them by preforming tricks from the
jump-boards or continuous Homing Attacks. For Tails and Dr. Eggman,
defeating more enemies on one Lock-on will earn technique points. For
Knuckles and Rouge, the amount depends on the number of hints you receive.
(less hints, more points)
Omochao
Omochao will act as your guide throughout the game, and can be found at
various locations throughout most levels. You can even grab him and throw
him at enemies.
Emblems
You are awarded an emblem for satisfying certain conditionsm such as
clearing a stage, Chao race, etc. You can verify the emblems and number of
stages cleared in the Emblem Results Screen.
Small Animals and Chaos Drives
In each stage, you can rescue small animals hidden in many places. If you
defeat enemies, you can collect "Chaos drives." Animals and Chaos drives
are useful in raising Chao. For Tails and Dr. Eggman, Chaos drives will
also recover lost HP by a little. If you rescue all small animals in the
stage, you are also awarded with an extra life.

8: Items
---------------------------------
There are numerous items in the game that you should know about. There are
two types of items that can be collected in Sonic Adventure 2. A number of
"Item Boxes" are located throughout the Action Stages as well as special
"Level Up Items." All of these items are useful but not essential in
completing levels.
High Speed Shoes
These shoes provide your character with a boost of speed for a limited time.
Invincibility
Use this item to destroy enemies without taking damage for a limited time.
5/10/20 Rings
Adds 5/10/20 rings to your ring collection.
Shield
Protects your character from damage one time only.
Magnetic Shield
Attracts and collects all nearby rings until damage is sustained.
Extra Life
Adds an extra life to the total number of lives.
Health
Restore all your HP (Tails and Dr. Eggman stages only).
Bomb
Destroys all onscreen enemies.

9: Upgrades
---------------------------------
The upgrades in Sonic Adventure 2 are essential. If you don't get the
upgrades you can't complete the levels. Here I have listed all of the
upgrades in the game and where each upgrade is located. Make sure you
collect all the upgrades before starting the Stage Select mode of the game.
That means don't try to find the hidden Chao without first consulting this
part of the guide!

Sonic Upgrades

Here are all the Sonic upgrades:

Upgrade...................Magic Gloves
Location..................City Escape

What It Does:
Change to "Magic Hand" in the action window, press B-button when an enemy is
close, Capture enemies when they turn into a ball. Try throwing them at
other enmies. Basically, this lets you throw enemies at other enemies. How
cool huh?
How To Get It:
Getting the Magic Gloves is a very easy task. Run through the level until
you run down the side of the building. Once you run down the side of the
building walk up the steps. Kill the robot in front of you so he doesn't
shoot at you. Now right before the green bush on the left side of the
screen you should see four gray boxes. Smash through them with your bounce
attack and you should fall into a pit where you get the Magic Gloves.

Upgrade...................Light Shoes
Location..................Metal Harbor
Upgrades Needed...........None
What It Does:
The light dash enables you to collect rings by tapping B. If the rings are
in a row and you tap B it will do the light dash which will fly you across
all the rings at a high speed. This is a very useful upgrade because not
only does it help you collect rings it is necessary to get pass some levels
where all you have is rings to cross.
How To Get It:
Go through the level and stop when you see a line of rings across the water.
Look to the left and you should see a hook. Go up the hook. When you
get up the hook you will see a shining green light which if you go to you
will get your first upgrade which is the Light Shoes. You need the Light
Shoes not only to complete this level, but to finish the whole game. This
upgrade is essential to get so don't miss them. You can now do the Light
Dash. Now go down to the string of rings and press B and you can use your
Light Dash.

Upgrade...................Ancient Light
Location..................Green Forest

What It Does:
The Ancient Light allows you to "Light Attack" to defeat multiple enemies
at light-speed. Press B-button to charge up, then release to destroy nearby
enemies.
How To Get It:
Go through the level at high speeds through checkpoint #1. After you hit
checkpoint #1 you should go through a loop that has the to open. Go through
there and then hit the launchpad to get launched on another platform. Kill
the three robots and then hit the booster that will send you to two other
boosters. Hit those boosters and you should see the second checkpoint. Now
run to the right instead of going to the checkpoint and you should see a
glass with 10 rings in it. Go to the edge of the platform and you should
see a shuttle when you change the view of your camera. Hit the shuttle,
then hit the coins, and then jump onto the platform where you will see the
green light.

Upgrade...................Bounce Bracelet
Location..................Pyramid Cave
Upgrades Needed...........None
What It Does:
This allows you to bounce to get up to higher platforms. Very essential to
complete the game.
How To Get It:
After hitting one of the hourglasses you should run up the wall. Kill the
enemy and then go up the platform. Here you should get the Bounce Bracelet
in the green light. The Bounce Bracelet allows you to jump higher.
Basically, the Bounce Bracelet is located in the level where everyone can
see it. It's a linear level so you shouldn't miss it at all.

Upgrade...................Flame Ring
Location..................Crazy Gadget
Upgrades Needed...........None
What It Does:
This allows you to break through boxes that you couldn't break through
before. This is also an essential upgrade to not only completing the level
Crazy Gadget but to unlocking secrets hidden in the game.
How To Get It:
Follow this after the 2nd warp pipe. Dodge the three blue enemies and all
the crates and run to the green arrow pointing down. Press X and you will
fall to the ground. Now hit the trampoline on the right back side of the
room. You'll go back to where you were right before falling down but you
will be now on the ground. You'll see all these gray crates and a green
light shining out of them. Go in the middle of the crates and you'll get
the Flame Ring. The Flame Ring allows you to use a powerful "Fire
Somersault"

Upgrade...................Mystic Melody
Location..................Final Rush
Upgrades Needed...........None
What It Does:
This is needed to find the Lost Chao in each mission. This also allows you
to unlock hidden paths.
How To Get It:
To get the Mystic Melody go to Final Rush. After you hit the 6th checkpoint
you should be facing one long pipe. Get on the pipe and don't croutch down.
You will go up one big hump and then down another one. Then on the next
big hump jump off the rail and land on the platform where there is a rocket
launcher. Take the rocket launcher. It will drop you off on a platform
where you will get an extra life. Now you'll see another platform ahead of
you. Jump down there and then hit the trampoline. Climb up the platform
and then grind up the bar. After the grind you will see a green light which
is the Mystic Melody.

Tails Upgrades
================================
Here are all the Tails upgrades:

Upgrade...................Lasor Blaster
Location..................Prison Lane
Upgrades Needed...........Bazooka
What It Does:
The Lasor Blastor allows you to lock-on missle power up. Missle spreads as
it explodes to destroy enemies in a wider area. This is a good blastor if
you want to complete all the levels easily!
How To Get It:
Run through the level until you see the goal. Instead of hitting the goal
kill all the enemies and you should see the gate on the left side open up.
If the gate does not open that means there are still some enemies in the
room. Jump up and shoot at the corners if you can't find the enemies. Now
the door should open. Walkthrough it and kill the two robots. Then you
should be able to get the Lasor Blaster.

Upgrade...................Booster
Location..................Mission Street
Upgrades Needed...........None
What It Does:
The Booster allows you to hover over great distances without falling. This
is an essential power up if you want to complete the game.
How To Get It:
Go until you see the robot car. Now you will see the road collaspe. Try
jumping over the gap and try making it to the other side of the road. You
won't be able to make it though so you'll fall down to the lower platform.
Walk forward until you see a gap in the street where you can't cross. Look
behind for a blockade that you can blow up which behind it has a green
light. The green light contains the Booster which is Tails first upgrade.
The booster allows you to hover while you hold down the A button during a
jump. This will help you cross the gaps in all the levels.

Upgrade...................Mystic Melody
Location..................Hidden Base
Upgrades Needed...........Bazooka
What It Does:
Change to "Mystic Melody" in the action window. Then press B-button to play
mysterious melodies. The Mystic Melody will not only let you find the lost
chaos but will also help you find hidden pathways by opening doors.
How To Get It:
Go though the level until you see your first hook. The hook will bring you
to a higher platform where you should see multiple coins. Get the coins and
hover down to the platform which is far from you. Don't worry if you
overshoot the platform because there will be two platforms that are lower
then that straight ahead of it. Now you should see another hook. Before
grabbing the hook blow up the 3 peices of dynamite on the platform next to
it. Grab the hook and jump onto the next platform. Go straight through the
entrance and you'll go up two steps. Then grab the hook. Don't jump off of
the hook instead shoot the four monkeys that are throwing things at you.
When you kill them, you'll get CHAO food. Once you gather the food go up
the step and you should see multiple peices of dynamite. Blow up all the
dynamite and a huge platform should fall. Get on that platform and you
should see a platform way lower then you. Fly down to the end of the
platform and you should see four gray crates. Blow them up and go in the
room. Boster to the green light.

Upgrade...................Bazooka
Location..................Eternal Engine
Upgrades Needed...........None
What It Does:
The Bazooka allows you to break through iron containers. This is a
necessary upgrade or you won't be able to finish the game.
How To Get It:
Go through the level until you do the following: Open the door and you will
get to your next checkpoint. Go through it and open the next door. Blow up
the plane and go to the left of the lasors. If you didn't blow up any of
the dynamite you should have no problem getting to the next room. In the
next room, kill the blob on the pathway. Also, kill the two flying blobs.
Try not to blow up the ramp. Hit the white switch and jump off the
platform. You will now see a green light which if you hit you'll get the
Bazooka. It's a Volkan Power Up and you can break through iron containers
that you couldn't break before.

Knuckles Upgrades

What It Does:
Change to "Mystic Melody" in the action window. Then press B-button to play
mysterious melodies. The Mystic Melody will not only let you find the lost
chaos but will also help you find hidden pathways by opening doors.
How To Get It:
This is easy. Fly straight and you'll fly up the lift. Then fly until you
see a statue. The statue should be called the "Lonely Statue." Climb up
his head and then onto the wall above him. Keep climbing up and you should
see a picture. Dig through the oval shape in the picture and you should
find a secret room with the Mystic Melody.

Upgrade...................Shovel Claw
Location..................Pumpkin Hill
Upgrades Needed...........None
What It Does:
This allows you to dig through walls and the ground. This is very useful in
finding emeralds and other goodies. This is essential to get if you want to
beat the game.
How To Get It:
This is the easiest upgrade to get in the game. Start off and walk
straight. You should see a green light on the other side of the ledge.

What It Does:
This is an oxygen tank necklace. You can now breathe underwater for as long
as you want.
How To Get It:
This upgrade is actually hard to get. Start off by climbing up the high
platform. Grab the hook to get in to the highest level of Aquatic Mine.
Hit the white switch to lower the water level to Level 3. Now go back to
where the level began and find the mine cart with caution signs on it. Drop
down and you should see a trampoline. Don't hit it, instead go straight and
hop onto the platform. Walk straight until you see water. Now dive into
the water by pressing B to get down to the bottom faster. Go in the opening
and hit the booster. Now you'll see some wooden planks. Go to the last
wooden plank and start swimming under them. Once under them you should see
another opening. Go in the opening and you should see an opening that leads
up. If your countdown just started while going up the waterway you'll make
it. If you are already starting to die you shouldn't even bother trying.
Float all the way up and there will be the Air Necklace.

What It Does:
This increases your punch attack power which allows you to brake iron
containers.
How To Get It:
You'll start off on a platform. If you flip the hourglass and run in the
first room you'll see another room you can run in to. Instead of running in
turn right and you'll see four boxes. Break the boxes and you'll see a
green light. You'll get your hammer gloves which can increase your punch
attack power. You'll need this to beat this level.

What It Does:
This lets you see things that you couldn't see before. Change the action
window with Y-button, press B-button to use. Just jump to take them off.
This helps you see hidden pictures and items.
How To Get It:
Fly to the main platform. Then walk around to the back side of it and you
should see a meteor. Fly over to the meteor and look at the back side of
it. You should see a red light. From the back of the meteor walk all the
way to the end of the platform. Then run towards the meteor and punch it.
The meteor will fly across the platform and hit the door which will expose a
white switch. Hit the white switch and then you will see the floor open up.
Climb up the big tower until you can get inside of it. If you try getting
in to early there will be the force field. Now drop all the way down and
you should see the Sunglasses on a platform.

This is a whole Walkthrough of the game as detailed as possible. Remember
that there are spoilers in here so if you don't want the game to be ruined I
suggest that you don't read this walkthrough. If you are looking to find
out how to get all A Rankings, find where the hidden Chao boxes are, or
looking for all the other missions you complete in each Stage you are not at
the right place. This is the story mode of the game. If you are looking
for any of the other stuff that I have listed look in the respected areas in

You begin a cut scene with Sonic escaping from a helicopter. Sonic is in
the helicopter as a prisoner for some strange reason. He decides tha the
must escape. He grabs part of the helicopter and swings off with his surf
board which leads you to:

Stage: 01 - Sonic
City Escape
Escape from Miltary Pursuit!
First stage of Sonic Adventure 2 are you excited? You start off my skating
down the middle of a city street. You here that a police officer says that
you are seen heading south. Pause the game and read this before starting
the hill part of the level. There are numerous turns in this part of the
level so don't get scared if you hit something because we all do. If you
think you are going too fast or you feel out of control simply hit the break
button to slow down. To get a better score in Sonic Adventure 2 it's good
if you get trick points. If you get trick points you'll get a higher
ranking and possibly a A Ranking if you do extrememly good. That is why I
mention in this level to do jumps and stuff. Also, there are many cars in
this level. Try not to hit them because not only will they slow you down
they will make your rank worse. The parked cars are not hard to dodge at
all so you shouldn't have a problem. When you run intersections there is a
chance that you may hit some cars so if you see a car coming simply jump up
over the car. Ok now unpause the game and start playing. Start by
collecting the coins on the right side of the road. Then cut back and hit
the left side of the road where you will get some coins and then hit a jump.
Hit the jump at high speeds and preform a trick to get extra points. Land
the jump and skate down the hill for a bit until you hit your first 90
degree hill. Don't slow down, just lean in to the turn early. After you
take that turn you will take another turn to the left. When you make that
turn smoothly keep on going down the hill in the center of the lane. You'll
hit another jump where you can get mad points if you are skating at high
speeds. After you hit the jump you'll keep on skating down until you see a
left turn. The turn is easy so you don't need to break at all or pull back
from any speed. Keep on going down the hill and you'll hit another big jump
where you can get more points if you do something special. After you hit
that jump, you'll go pass an intersection and then hit some boosters that
will fly you over a gate and land you on the ground without your board.
Wow, that was fun. Now you're on foot. Run up the stairs and go forward.
Their will be an enemy on the right side of the screen so make sure you go
jump on him to kill him. Run down the hill and collect the coins. Do a
spin dash to kill the enemy that is right next to the right of the stairs.
Run up the stairs (or if you want grind up the bar) to get to the top. Here
you will see another en enemy with a gun. Kill him and then you'll have
your first obstacle. What is this 2 crates blocking the entrance? Simply
press X to break down the crates to start running again. Once you break
down the crates you'll see a bar. Jump on it to grind. While grinding hold
down B to pick up speed. Right before the bar ends jump off and land on the
other bar. Keep on going up and his a booster that will send you up a hill.
Now you get a pretty clear view of what to do. See those moving
platforms? Jump on the one nearest you to make sure you don't fall. Then
simply jump from each moving platform until you get to the top. You shouild
be on green grass and see your first checkpoint. Each checkpoint
automatically saves the game at that part. Hit the checkpoint and you'll
hit a booster which will start you running again. Run straight down the
hill hitting boosters and you'll run up a ramp. Jump off the ramp and keep
on running straight until you hit a 90 degree left turn. Don't cut the turn
early run straight through it and hit the boosters on the left side and
you'll go off another jump. After this, keep on running down and hit some
more boosters. After you're done running down the hill you'll make it to
some brick steps. Don't bother running up the steps jump on the grass
divider and start running up the hill. Jump off the top and go on one side
of the brick path. Hit the trampoline (star jumps) to fly up. Brake the
crate on the right side of the screen just for practice. Also, brake the
two crates on the left side of the screen. Now go up the brick steps.
Beware on the 2nd level of the bricks there will be one enemy on each side
of the platform. Make sure you kill both of them before going. Now
continue up the bricks and at the right platform before the top of the steps
you'll see a blue box. Now this is a Chao box which when you break it open
you'll get a key to Chao World. Through this guide, I'm not going to be
pointing out where the boxes are located. I have a section in the guide for
that so if you are interested where the 3 boxes are in each level consult
that part of the guide. Now back to the level, kill the enemy on the top of
the stasirs and you'll be back on the streets. Run down the street and hit
the coins and then move to your right to take the jump. If you take the
jump you'll get speed shoes which will really help you get more points and
get done with the level faster. Take the left turn at high speeds and
you'll start running straight. You'll hit a booster and then see another
grind bar. Jump onto the grind bar by hitting the trampoline on the top of
the wall. You'll start going down with some speed but to pick up more speed
hold down B so you are crouching down. This rail is pretty long and you can
pick up a lot of coins. When you get off the rail you'll see a white ramp
that you can't run up. Hold down B and spin dash up the ramp. You must be
stopped to do this. When you get up here you'll see another blue box. Open
it if you want. Before you open it though, kill the enemy. Then hit the
trampoline which will send you hitting 3 more trampolines. When you are
finally done flying you'll end up at another checkpoint. Run through the
checkpoint and start running down the path. Stay on the path (there is a
shortcut but it's not useful if you are just starting the game) and run pass
the enemy in the middle of the path. Hit a booster and then hit another one
and do a loop. Now you should get deja vu of Sonic Adventure by running
down the side of the building. When you are done running down the building
you'll be in a quad where you see a handrail and two sets of stairs.
Instead of grinding the bar all the way to the top jump up right when you
get on and grab on to the horizontal bar. Let go off your swing when you
are just going up to swing to the next bar. Fly off the second bar the same
way as you did the first and you'll get a special power up for the moment.
Taking this path instead of the other path by passes you through all the
enemies. Now you will see a line of flying enemies. Hit the first one by
jumping up and pressing A. After you hit that one, press A again to hit the
next one and repeat this until you get back to ground level. This is a
pretty cool move that Sonic can do because he can actually get places by
killing things. While you're doing this if you look down you will see the
path most people would be taking if they didn't swing on the two bars. As
you can see, this path is a lot easier. After you get to ground level go
forward and you'll see an enemy with a gun. Kill him and then jump on the
grind bar. There's three different bars so make sure you jump off to get on
to the next one before you fall off. When you are done grinding climb back
up the few first steps. Then jump to your left and kill the enemy on the
grass platform. Now jump to the right over the staircase to kill the enemy
on the other platform. Now jump to the horizontal swing bar and swing up.
You'll swing to another check point which has boosts right after it. Hit
the check point and then croutch down by tapping B. Now Sonic will start
running off again and behind you will be a huge truck. Start off on the
right side of the screen to pick up the coins. Then cut to the left to pick
up some coins and hit the boost and the jump. Then stay to the left and
you'll pass an intersection. Keep to the left and pick up more coins and
you'll hit a 90 degree turn. If you stay on the left you'll hit a boost
right before the turn. Now cut to the right to pick up the coins. You'll
hit another 90 degree turn but if you are on the right you'll hit a boost
which will automatically change your direction. If you hit that boost,
you'll hit the other boost which will change your direction for the next
turn that comes up right after. Now you'll be going straight again so stay
to your left to pick up some more coins and hit a jump. After the small
intersection go in the middle of the road to pick up some coins. Then
you'll go under a bridge and the truck will stop. You'll hit some boost
meters and you'll fly. Then you'll see your goal. Jump in to the big ring
and you completed the first level! Not that hard was it?

A cutscene shows that the F-6T Big Foot says that he found Sonic and is
going to destroy him. After the cutscene:

F-6T Big Foot
F-6T Big Foot is a robot with a human driving it. His basics attack
consists of hovering around the arena with his machine gun. This is very
easy to avoid. When he stays in place homing attack his cockpit. He should
be dead with 4 or 5 attacks to the cockpit. If you get hit, collect some
rings to get life. There are plenty of rings on this level so be sure to
collect as many as you want. If you feel comfortable hitting him while he's
staying still try hitting him when he is in the air shooting at you. To hit
him while in the air, jump on a crate to get the needed height and preform
the homing attack that Sonic is famous for. This is a much faster way to
kill F-6T Big Foot but is a lot harder. Basically, all you need to do to be
successful in winning this your first time is to be sure to dodge the
machine gun by rooling around. There isn't much more help I can give you on
this boss because he is relaly easy. After you defeat the F-6T Big Foot you
will move onto another cutscene.

We later find out that the pilot of this is Shadow who has taken the green
chaos emerald. We find out that Sonic has been mistaken for Shadow and
that's why he has been getting chased from the government. Shadow uses a
tight chaos control and teleports out of there. He says that he is the
Ultimate Life Force. When he teleports out, it leaves Sonic surrounded by
the cops.

The scene moves to Knuckles and Rouge the Bat who are arguing over the
master emerald. Dr. Eggman steals the master emerald but Knucklers shatters
the emerald by punching it which breaks the emerald in to many peices. He
does this so he can keep the emerald out of Dr. Eggman's hands which
introduces Knuckle's quest to collect all the peices of the Master Emerald.

Stage: 02 - Knuckles
Wild Canyon
Find 3 peices of the Master Emerald.
Knuckles first stage is pretty pointless. In this stage you should fly
around using Knuckles gliding ability making sure you are keeping eye on the
radar. If you need any help finding the peices you can consult the
television screens which are located around the map for clues. Because the
emerald locations are randomely generated everytime you start a new game,
it's impossible to tell you where the emeralds are. All I can say is that
you should keep your eye on the radar and look in the places where you least
expect it. If you have the emerald on your radar but can't find where it is
it's probably below or above in a box. Don't be afraid to climb up the
walls and break open everything you see. Later on emeralds will be in the
ground but you can't dig now so it's not important. This is probably the
easiest Kunckles stage so if you are having trouble with this stage you will
be having a lot of trouble later on in the game. The emeralds are not
hidden at all so it should be a peice of cake to complete this level. If
you want the Mystic Melody to play mysterious melodies fly to the egyptian.
Then climb above his head so you are on the wall. Climb up the wall and you
should see a picture. Now dig through the picture and you will see a green
light. Inside the light will be the Mystic Melody.

You go to Prison Island where you see Tails flying in his helicopter which
he calls the Tornado. When he is on his way to save Sonic from prison he
sees Amy and Dr. Eggman. He transforms his helicopter to a fighting mec
style where he sees Dr. Eggman fooling with Amy. This takes you to your 2nd
fight battle where you fight Dr. Eggman. This battle is very easy because
all you need to do is lock on to him and let go. Dr. Eggman has the same
attacks as you but being that this is one of the first levels in the game he
goes really easy on you. Just lock on to him and shoot your gun to destroy
Eggman very quickly. This is the same strategy for all Tails missions,
levels, and bosses making his levels extremely boring and tiredsome. If you
lose to Dr. Eggman you are a disgrace to gamers. This is probably the
easiest battle in the game.

After you beat Eggman he decides to cut out and Tails is left with Amy. We
discover that Amy is here to also save Sonic. After the scene you get to
have your first Tails mission at Prison Lane.

Stage: 03 - Tails
Prison Lane
Find the core of the Prison!
Excited? You get to be Tails in his first mission. First off lock on to
the three flying enemies by holding down B. You can either lock on to all
of them at once or kill them one by one. If you kill them all at once you
will get more points. When you kill the three flying enemies the door will
open. Go straight through the corridor and watch out for the flying enemy.
Shoot him down and the door infront of you will open. Keep on going
straight and you'll see an enemy pass the gate. The gate is closed so you
have to shoot the video camera and the enemy to open the gate. Once the
gate opens turn left and kill the two enemies. Keep on going straight and
you'll see a platform which you can stand out. Before standing on the
platform kill the flying enemy that you see. Step on the platform and jump
up to the next platform. You should see a line of coins. Collect the coins
and get on the next platform. It will move upand get off it. First kill
the flying spaceship that flies by you. Then kill the enemy in the cell and
the shuttle outside the cell. Once you kill both of them the cell door will
open. Go in and turn right. You should be collecting coins while walking.
Now, stop and kill the shuttles outside the gate. Once you kill two of them
the door will open. Go through the door and you'll see another robot. Kill
the robot and keep going straight. In the corridor, you'll see a shuttle
that you need to kill also. Keep going straight from there on until you hit
the next platform. Go on the platformand it will move you up. Jump off the
platform and you should see some boxes. You can't break the boxes so just
jump on them to get up to the higher platform. Once you reach the platform
there will be an enemy that you need to kill. Kill him and then your
entrance will be blockade by crates. Blow up all the crates and then a
robot will be behind them. Kill the robot and go up the platform. The
platform will move you up where you will see your biggest robot yet. Don't
worry though, he's just as easy as all the other robots you see. After you
kill the robot go straight and two flying shuttles will come after you.
Blow them up and collect the rings. Now go straight and you should enter a
room with your first check point. Go through it and kill the enemy who is
pass the gates. Killing the enemy will open up the two gates in front of
you. Walk through and a shuttle will come flying through. Blow it up and
while you're at it blow up the video camera. Now walk in the next room and
you'll see two robots behind the gate. Kill the two robots and the gate
will open. Walk through the gate and you will see a platform. Look left to
the platform and you'll see a robot behind a fence. Kill the robot and the
fence will open and you'll see the Chao Box. Now go on the platformand it
will raise you to a corridor with rings in it. Blow up the video camera and
drop down. When down in the next room, kill all four shuttles. If you are
need of coins, look behind the machine and you'll find 10 coins. Once you
kill all four shuttles the next gate will open. Go through the gate and
you'll see two more shuttles. Walk straight and you'll see some kind of
container. Blow the container up. Now you'll see a ramp. Get up on the
platform and it will move you up the ramp. While on this moving platform
kill the 5 shuttles you'll pass by. Then when you get off, kill the 3
shuttles in the same room as you and kill the one shuttle thats behind the
fence. Once you do that, the gate will open. Go through the checkpoint and
you'll see about 8 coins. Pick them up and blow up the video camera. Walk
straight and take a slight left and you'll see three crates. Blow up the
crates and then blow up the robot behind them. This will open up the next
gate. Then kill the three shuttles which will open up the next gate. Walk
through the gate and you'll see a robot behind the fence. Kill the robot
and the fence will open. Watch out now, theres a shuttle flying after you.
Shut down the shuttle and then enter the big room. Go on the platform and
then you'll be on the roof. Get the coins and the bubble and drop down at
the far left side of the roof. You'll then see your next enemy which you
can easily kill. Kill him and the next gate will open up. Go up the
platform and you'll see some orange containers. G to the next platform
right to the right of you and go up. You'll see the same kind of enemy you
just saw before. Don't only kill him, but kill the shuttle and the robot
who asre in the distance. Once done with that go straight and drop down the
platform. Take the left in to the next cell where you should find 5 coins.
Then take a right and you'll see two crates. Break the crates and jump up
the to the next platform. Then get on the platform and it will raise you to
a new place with two robots guarding it. Kill the robots and then watch out
for a flying shuttle. Kill the flying shuttle before it hits you and you
should see an animal in a cage. Go straight and look out from the steel
bars. You should see a lot of shuttles floating. Kill all the shuttles and
continue on straight where you should incounter two robots. After you take
care of the robots, take a right and pick up the 5 coins. You'll see
another robot here that you need to kill. After that you will be at another
gate. Kill the shuttle outside the gate to open it up and walk outside.
Destroy the video camera and continue walking where a robot will come. Kill
the robot and jump up from the step. Now you will see another checkpoint
and a fence. Kill the four robots who are behind the fence to open it up.
Walk through and pick up the rings. Keep walking straight until you
encounter a gate with 3 shuttles in it. Kill the shuttles to open the gate
up. Now walk through and 3 robots will appear. Kill them and another gate
will open. Get on the far right platform to kill the shuttle behind you.
Then get on the platform and it will raise you to a gate. Kill all the
enemies and the gate will open. Go inside and collect the 5 rings. Then
kill the four robots and the other enemy at the top to open up the last
gate. Then you'll see the goal and be completed with your first Tails
mission.

After you beat the Tails mission you see Sonic chilling in his prison cell.
Amy Rose says Have No Fear Amy Rose is Here. While chatting with Sonic she
asks him to marry her and of course Sonic shoots her down like a bag of
garbage. Amy gets Sonic out of the cell by using the security card from a
guard. While doing this, she informs Sonic that Dr. Eggman is behind all of
this.

Stage: 04 - Sonic
Metal Harbor
Escape From The Military Base!
This is a really fun Sonic stage because it should remind you of the old
Sonic games. Also, it is basically a short stage so you should have no
problem completing it in no time. You start off running and hitting a boost
and then hitting a launch pad. You'll launch over a big gap and then and
then hit another boost to go up a really high loop. Once you are done with
the loop you have started controlling Sonic. Pick up the coins on the left
side of the path and continue down the path until you hit another launch
pad. Hit the launch pad and it will send you over some water. Now continue
down and you should see a shuttle in the air. Try hitting it. If you can't
hit it, it's ok because you'll still get on the high platform. While on the
high platform you should see some floating spaceships. Do your attack and
kill all three spaceships. This should land you on another platform where
you should see a line of coins. Because you don't have the Light Dash yet
just continue forward by dropping down. Now hit the trampoline and it you
should hit a number of trampolines before landing on another platform. On
this platform you should see a line of shuttles that you can blow up to get
to the other side of the water. Jump up and then tap A and you should blow
up the first shuttle. Keep tapping A so you can get across. If you press
left on the analog while doing this you will take the long path where you
will also get some coins. On the other side of the platform you will see a
lot of things. Look to the left and you should see a hook. Go up the
hook. When you get up the hook you will see a shining green light which if
you go to you will get your first upgrade which is the Light Shoes. You
need the Light Shoes not only to complete this level, but to finish the
whole game. This upgrade is essential to get so don't miss them. You can
now do the Light Dash. Now go down to the string of rings and press B and
you can fly through them. Do this wherever you see a string of rings
because it will not only get you through the level faster it will get you
more points. Now you get to test out out the light dash for the first time.
Go up to the string of coins and tap B. This should take you across the
water and get you a good number of trick points. Now you will be on some
kind of runway. Hit the booster on the left to pick up speed follow by the
two boosters on the right. Make sure you don't get hit by the planes or the
bombs because it will not only slow you down it will kill you if you don't
have any coins. Now continue on the runway and you should see another line
of coins. Don't hestitate tap B and it should take you across the waster
where you should see your next checkpoint. Hit the checkpoint and you
should see some rings. Tap B on the first ring to get collect all of them
at once. Right after you tap B you will get mad speed which will send you
in to a booster and then in to a loop where you will hit a trampoline pad if
you are going fast enough. Now you should continue down the ramp where you
should see another launch pad. Hit the launch pad and continue on going
straight. You should see a slight opening on the bottom of the fence. Go
under it by pressing B and now you should see a hook. Hold on to the hook
and it will take you up a couple of stories. Jump off the hook and spin
under the next fence where you should see yet another hook. Grab that hook
and it will send you up a few more stories. Now jump off that hook and you
should see a pathway. Run down the platform and you should see three
boosters in the middle. Hit all three and then you will go in to a loop.
After that the pathway should level out. Go down the pathway and you should
see another booster. Hit it and it will send you up a hill that if you are
going fast enough you will clear the water. Continue going straight and
then duck under the fence. Then you will see a line of enemies over the
water. Hit the first one and then follow up by hitting all the enemies in a
row. There should be five enemies that you have to hit. Now get the coins
in the glass and hit the checkpoint. Go on the rocket launcher and you will
get on a yellow platform. Run as fast as you can because a countdown with
15 seconds will appear. Take the first 90 degree turn as fast as possible.
Take the next two the same way as you did the first one. Now hit the
booster that will send you up the platform. Hit the next booster to make
another turn. This will send you to a trampoline if you slow down in time.
Hit the trampoline and youn should take off on the rocket ship. You will
see a short scene with Sonic holding on and then you will fall down in to
some kind of tunnel. You'll be on some kind of metal board. Stay to the
left to hit the first set of coins and then cut to the right. Then cut back
to the left and then back to the middle to hit some more coins. When you
come out hit a set of the boosters and it will send you up a loop which will
then launch you on a launch pad. Once this is all complete you'll hit the
goal.

After you complete the level there is a cutscene of Sonic in a forest.
Shadow sees you and you prepare for your next battle with Shadow.
Immediently when the fight begins collect a ring because Shadow attacks you
with the same attacks as you do. To beat Shadow jump on his head by doing
your homing attack. Make sure you get behind Shadow so he can't defend
against your attacks. He uses the spin dash to his advantage so make sure
you don't get hit by it. If you do get hit by one of his moves, you might
get hit off the platform and die. Shadow's energy bar is not that hard to
get down and you should be able to kill him in a couple of tries. Make sure
you don't go in the water or you will die. Once you kill him Sonic says "Do
you know who I am" which then brings you to Stage 05.

Stage: 05 - Sonic
Green Forest
Escape from the Island in 8 Minutes!
Shadow gets a message from Dr. Eggman telling him to get off the island
before it blows up. Shadow cuts out and you have to get off the island in 8
minutes which shouldn't be a problem at all. You should be able to beat
this level on your first try way within the given time limit. Ok now on to
how to beat this level. You'll start off from a high level dropping down to
the ground. Run straight and collect the coins in a straight path. Hit the
launch pad and you'll get on to a new level of terran. 3 enemy robots will
appear so make sure you kill them. Go forward by following the path of
rings. If you are going in the right direction you should hit a booster
which will send you in to a small tunnel. Follow the tunnel and you'll see
a new type of enemy. Don't try killing him because you'll die by hitting
one of his spikes. Instead, jump over him and hit the next booster in the
water which will lead you to some more booster and then to a launchpad.
Once launched in to the air you'll be on a level platform where you will see
your first checkpoint. Hit the checkpoint and continue straight to the red
trampoline. Hit that and you will fly up in to the air and grab a rope.
Sonic will do a flip on the rope and then go airborn on to a new platform
with 2 enemy robots guarding it. Kill the two robots and then you should
see 3 shuttles. Kill the shuttles and then kill the last robot behind it.
Go forward and hit the trampoline which will send you on another rope that
you will do a flip on. When you land on the ground go forward down the path
and hit one of the three boosters. This will send Sonic in to a flip and
then he will hit a booster which will fly him in to a opening in the ground.
While in the tunnel or whatever you want to call it kill the 3 enemy
robots. Then gather the coins and hit the booster. This will send you to
numerous boosters that will then lead you in to a flip. At the end of the
flip, hit the trampoline to get onto a new platform. Here you should see a
line of coins. Tap B and do your light dash and you will go through your
next checkpoint. Continue down the path at very high speeds and you should
be reminded of oldtime Sonic games. At the end of the path you will hit a
trampoline which will send you on another rope. The rope will send you
around in a circle and drop you off on a new platform. You should see three
crates. Break them open and then you should see two shuttles. Hit the
first shuttle, then hit the next one, and then hit the trampoline. The
trampoline will then send you to another trampoline which will send you back
to ground level. Continue down the slope and you should see a booster and
your next checkpoint. Hit the booster and go through the checkpoint where
you will hit another booster. This booster will send you onto a path which
will become a loop. Take the loop at high speeds and you'll then go down a
path with a line of coins. Use your light dash to collect all the coins
and then hit the trampoline. This will send you airborn. While in the air
position yourself to the next trampoline on the right platform. Hit that
and then position yourself to the next trampoline where you will see a blue
box. If you want the Chao key hit the blue box but if you don't just hit
the trampoline. Upon hitting that trampoline you will be shot up high to a
left platform. Hit the trampoline and you'll be sent on a platform with a
robot on it. Kill the robot, then kill the shuttle to get to the next
trampoline which will send you to another trampoline. You'll land on a
platform. Jump to the next platform but be careful not to hit the shuttle.
Hit the shuttle and then hit the trampoline to get up to a higher platform.
Here you should see your next checkpoint. Run through the checkpoint and
down the path. The path will be pretty long. When you are done with the
path you should see a booster. Hit the booster and you should be sent on a
big ride. The ride will consist of hitting 6 boosters and then grabbing
onto a rope with your foot. You'll first head down on the rope but then
spring back up where you will be on a new platform. Continue straight and
you should encounter a robot. Kil the robot and then kill two shuttles to
get to your next checkpoint. Run through the checkpoint and you'll go down
a slope with some coins on it. Continue down the slope and hit the booster
which will send Sonic on a long high speed adventure. Stick to the middle
of the path and collect all the coins. Continue down the path at high
speeds and hit the trampoline. If you are having trouble staying on the
path feel free to grind the side of the path. Hit the trampoline and you
will swing on another rope. This rope will take you in a 360 degree turn
which you will land on some unlevel platforms. Jump up on the platform
right ahead of you and run to the next platforms. Try getting on how many
platforms you can get on. Once you get to the last platform jump down and
you'll hit a lower platform with a trampoline on it. Hit the trampoline and
it will send you on two more trampolines. Once you get done with the
trampolines you will be sent on a platform where you will see the goal. Hit
the goal and you completed this long level.

After you complete the island you see a computer generated cut scene in
which the island you are on blows up. Tails makes it out alive and you move
onto Stage 6.

Stage: 06 - Knuckles
Pumpkin Hill
Find 3 pieces of the Master Emerald.
Suddenly, you'll go to Pumpkin Hill which Knuckles say is haunted. This is
the most random place in the game as it is a haunted pumpkin zone that has
nothing to do with the story. Once you start just go straight towards the
green light and you'll receive the Shovel Claw which allows you to dig in to
walls and the ground by pressing the B button. This is something that you
need to get and adds a new challenge to the game because there are now
emeralds hidden in the ground. The music is extremely annoying and you may
want to turn off the sound and put on some real rap music. Just to remind
you, this is one of the longest levels in the game because it's a big level
and it takes a while to look around and find everything. Don't get
discouraged if your radar doesn't go off because you'll eventually find it.
Remember that digging not only gets you emeralds but you can occasionally
dig up coins which is very helpful. Also, if you are having trouble finding
the emblems in your radar is going off, be sure to knock down the little
huts. Just remember your radar doesn't lie so if its in the red-zone and
you can't find the emerald you must not be looking that good! If the radar
is flashing red and you can't find it is probably in the ground so all you
will have to do is keep digging all around. Remember there are multiple
levels of terrain in Pumpkin Hill so it may be hard to find the emeralds.

After you complete this level there is a cut scene of Eggman on the news
telling everyone that he is the greatest scientist of all time. He gives a
demonstration of his weapon which lights up the whole sky and takes a major
chunk out of the moon. It kind of reminds me of Independence Day. Everyone
on Earth is terrified and you see a countdown of 23 hours and 58 minutes
until the Earth is destroyed.

Sonic, Amy, and Tails are talking about how Eggman got all the energy. Then
they discover that it's the chaos emeralds. Tails then shows Sonic that he
has a chaos emerald and then the cops arrive. Sonic tells Tails to find
Eggman while he takes care of the cops. Amy decides to help Tails.

Stage: 07 - Tails
Mission Street
Elude Enemy Pursuit!
In this stage Tails is in his mech-warrior form and basically you shoot it
out the the cops. Start off by going straight and collecting the rings. A
robot will jump out from the left of the screen so make sure you kill him.
Also, blow up the robot behind the blue car to make sure you don't get hit
by anything. Continue straight and blow up the robot behind the yellow
taxi. Now go straight and collect the coins. Blow up the two robots next
to the police cars. Go in the tunnel and you'll see a robot. Blow up the
robot and continue going straight. A robot will drop down from the tunnel
so blow him up. Blow up the three crates and kill the robot behind the
crates. Kill the two robots behind the crates. Now blow up all the crates
blocking your path and blow up the construction lights. Continue straight
and kill the two robots. Also, kill the robot car. Now you will see the
road collaspe. Try jumping over the gap and try making it to the other
side of the road. You won't be able to make it though so you'll fall down
to the lower platform. Walk forward until you see a gap in the street where
you can't cross. Look behind for a blockade that you can blow up which
behind it has a green light. The green light contains the Booster which is
Tails first upgrade. The booster allows you to hover while you hold down
the A button during a jump. This will help you cross the gaps in all the
levels. Now go back and cross the gap where the coins are. Kill the robot
and shoot the two signs point up. Then two robots will fall down. Kill
them and hop on to the weight that is falling. Make sure you don't go under
it's shadow or it will hit you. Take the journey up the weight and blow up
the robot. Now blow up the dynamite on the side of the pillars. If you
want the key to the Chao key blow up the crates and you'll find the blue
crate. If not go to the right of the screen and jump up and hold the hook.
Jump off the hook and climb the ascending platforms. Once up all the
platforms go through the checkpoint and follow the path of coins. A peice
of the road will blow up so hover over it. Kill the enemies on the right
and left of you that are on the platforms. Jump over the peice of road that
is rumbling and collect some more coins. Now you should see a cop car and a
bunch of crates. Behind the crate there is a robot. Blow up the robot and
then turn backwards. You should see a rocket. Go next to the rocket and it
will blow up the crates. Now hover over the peice of road that just fell
down to get where the crates were. Go straight and you'll kill a robot next
to the pillars. Blow up all the dynamite on each pillar to knock them down.
On the fourth pillar, there will be a robot on the right side of the
screen that will shoot at you. Kill it and continue on. While walking,
you'll see a robot in the middle of the road. Kill it and then you should
see a balloon. Blow up the two pillars by hitting the dynamite and kill the
robot on the top of the platform. Now walk over to the the pillar that you
knocked over and jump onto the next platform where you killed the robot.
Collect the coins and kill the robot. You should now see three police cars
and a some construction crates. Hover to them hovering over the big open
hole. Blow up the crates and you'll see a Chao key box. Blow up the police
cars and keep on walking forward. Beware of the platform that drops down.
You'll see a black shadow so walk in it and run back out of it. Then jump
over it when it's on the ground. Collect the rings and go up the path where
you should blow up the dynamite on the pillars. On the first left pillar
there is a robot so make sure you blow him up. Also, a robot will jump onto
the road and get right in front of your face. Kill him and continue going
forward. A plane will fly over you and then a robot will drop. Kill the
robot and also kill the robot on the pillar and continue up the path. Kill
the robot on the last left pillar and you should see a platform with the
color pink blinking on it. Don't go on the platform instead hover over it
and pass the opening in the road. Now kill the robot on the path and you'll
see a lot of pillars moving up and down. Jump on the first pillar that is
the lowest. Platform jump your way up to the top where you should see your
next checkpoint. Run through it and a plane will drop some bombs. Avoid
the bombs and start hovering over the broken peices of the road. You'll
then enter a place with two pillarswith a lot of dynamite on it. Blow up
the dynamite and the right pillar will make a path to the road. Get up on
the pillar and walk across it to the other side of the road. Collect the
rings and kill the robot on the first right pillar. Keep going on your
journey and another robot will jump down. Kill him and then you should see
some police cars in a tunnel. Walk on the platform and it will began to
break and turn. Hover and kill the two robots that appear while in the air.
Blow up the two cop cars and the two robots behind the crates. Keep
walking and you should see two crates. Behind the crates is a robot so kill
the crates and the robot. Now you should see two robots. Kill the robots
and keep walking until you see some more police cars. Blow up the robot on
the right side of the town and turn around and kill the two robots behind
you. Then jump over the platform that just fell down and kill the robot.
Take a left turn and stop and kill the two robots behind you. Collect the
coins and then kill the two other robots. Walk forward and kill the three
robots that drop down. Blow up the two cop cars and you should see the
goal. You're done with this long mission now.

After you complete the Tails mission you'll move in to a mountainous region
where you'll get your 8th stage.

Stage: 08 - Knuckles
Aquatic Mine
Find 3 peices of the Master Emerald
Ahh...another Knuckles level. This one isn't as bad as Pumpkin Hill though
and shouldn't take that long to complete. Like changing the water level?
Then this is your level. On the first level next to the platform where you
start out there with rings there will be two blue babies. If you walk pass
then you should fall down in to a little thing with machines saying 1 and 2.
If you to raise the water level hit the white switch to raise it to level
1. If you want to lower the water level hit the white switch to level 2.
This will lower the water level. This helps out when you are looking for
emeralds that are located in the level. When the water level is at 1 you
can reach the hooks to get to the higher level. When the level is 2, the
hooks will be too high for knuckles to get at. When you get to the highest
level you will see the Level 3 water raiser. With my experience in this
level, I have came to the conclusion that there is usually an emerald on
each level. If you are having problems finding where the emeralds are just
consult the computers which are also found on each level. I had to dig for
two of the emeralds in this level so it takes a bit of time. If you want to
make Level 3 have no water make sure you hit the white switch. The average
gamer should get a ranking of E on this
level. Now you will have 8 emblems in the game.

After completing the level you will see a cutscene with Tails and Amy.
Tails is talking to Sonic on his radio about how Eggman took the emblems in
to outer space. The Knuckles comes from the sewer so now all three of them
chat about emeralds. Tails wants to get in to the limo to trace the call so
he can find out where Eggman is.

Stage: 09 - Tails
Route 101
Chase the President's Limousine!
Wow, this is a Tails stage that is actually a bit of fun. In this stage,
Tails is in his racing form which he tries to catch the Presidents Limo.
The race track is pretty linear so you should have no problem catching the
limo. Make sure your time doesn't run out. When you cross the checkpoint
your time will get increased. Make sure you collect rings because everytime
you get 20 rings you'll get a boost. Also, everytime you hit one of the red
balloon things you'll get a boost too. To use your boost press Y. To get
speed with your race car type of thing press A and to break press B. This
level is pretty easy and when you see a black limo get behind it and it will
show you your ranking. The average gamer should get a C Ranking in this the
first time playing. There are balloons located all around the course and
also by every pit stop. Also, this will unlock mini cart racing on
multiplayer.

After you win, you see a clip of the president and his secretary talking
about the national crisis that Dr. Eggman created. The president is
chatting with Dr. Eggman in the car and he wants to know what Dr. Eggman
wants. Dr. Eggman wants the president to surrender to the Eggman Empire or
the world will not exist. Sonic comes in to the limo with Tails and turns
off the monitor where he is talking to Eggman. Tails finds out that Eggman
is talking to them from the space colony Arc. Then the movie fades out.

Knuckles, Sonic, Amy, and Tails are now outside a pyramid. Knuckles saw
Eggman go in to the pyramid. Tails decides to go and find the entrance
without letting Sonic respond. Then you see Tails run off and it you get
to:

Stage: 10 - Tails
Hidden Base
Find the entrance into Hidden Base!
Make sure you don't fall in the quick sand or you'll sink. Go straight on
to the platform and get the 10 coints. Blow up the robot thats flying
around. Take the left path by blowing up the crate. Then hover where the
rings are to the lower platform. Before doing that though, kill the other
robot flying around. Now you'll be on the platform and you'll have no where
to go. Blow up the 3 dynamite things by locking on to them. This will make
the level fall. Now hover over the level and you'll be on a platform with
nothing on it. Blow up the red thing that is in your way and it will give
you a platform to stand on. Stand on that platform and platform your way to
the entrance. Now you'll be in a little room with no way out. Blow up the
wall with the strange face on it by shooting it. Once you do that blow up
the dynamite to your left and straight ahead of you. Both levels should
fall down then so step on the platform to youyr left and then jump on the
next platforms. Kill the two flying things that fly by you to the left. If
you miss, it's ok because they won't come back and attack you. Then blow up
the two pieces of dynamite to lower yet another platform. Hop onto that
platform and you'll be stuck again. Blow up the funny picture to get in to
another room. Beware, there are two robots in this room with one being on
each side. Blow up both of these robots and then break down the yet another
door. After blowing up that wall you'll see another wall that you must blow
up thats a bit lower then you. Blow up that wall and hover to the entrance.
Now you'll be in a hallway. Blow up the first wall to your left if you
want to get an animal. Walk straight and then blow up the 2nd wall to your
right to get another animal. Blow up the pottery. Keep walking straight
and you'll blow up another wall. Once you enter the next room there will be
three spaceships shooting at you from all sides. Not a problem though, kill
all of them by moving up a little on the path. Once you kill all of them
keep moving straight where you will find another room. If you want the key
to the CHAO place blow up the wall behind you by turning around 180 degrees.
If you don't blow up the wall straight ahead of you. Once blowing up the
wall, you'll have a spaceship fly right by you. Don't be scared, it's easy
to shoot down. Walk straight and blow up the two handles sticking up next
to the checkpoint. One handle is on each side of the checkpoint. Hit the
save checkpoint and blow up the dynamate which is located below the wall.
Do that and the wall will fall. Hover to the platform that just fell down
and you will see flags waving in the air. Keep walking straight and you'll
enter another room. Break that wall and you'll have your first opportunity
to platform jump. Don't be scared, it's not hard. Jump on the platform in
front of you by hovering over to it. Once there, blow up the robot on the
left platform to the side of you. Hop over to the platform where the robot
was just at. If you decide to go to the right side, you'll end up just
getting an animal. Then once you are on the platform where the robot was
jump on the platform that is moving up and down. Take a left and hover over
to the next platform when the platform you are on now is at its highest
peak. Next hover over the platform that is low to get onto the next
platform. Once there, blow up the two dynamite peices at the lower portion
of the platform that you are facing. When it blows up, you'll be on a new
platform that is really big. Get on that platform and move towards the
platform that are straight in front of you. Once you are on them, drop down
to the lower platforms on the left of you. Then hover to the platforms
straight in front of you where you will see a hook. Before jumping on the
hook blow up the 3 peices of dynamite on the platform above you. Then jump
onto the next platform and grab the hook. The hook will bring you to a
higher platform where you should see multiple coins. Gather the coins but
before that shoot down the two twirling sticks which are located on the
right and left of you. Get the coins and hover down to the platform which
is far from you. Don't worry if you overshoot the platform because there
will be two platforms that are lower then that straight ahead of it. When I
jumped, I thought I landed in the quicksand but instead I was on the lower
platform. Blow up the two spaceships that try to attack you. Now you
should see another hook. Before grabbing the hook blow up the 3 peices of
dynamite on the platform next to it. Grab the hook and jump onto the next
platform. You should see multiple peices of pottery on the right side of
the level. Blow up the pottery and you'll get some CHAO food and some
coins. Go straight through the entrance and you'll go up two steps. Then
grab the hook. Don't jump off of the hook instead shoot the four monkeys
that are throwing things at you. When you kill them, you'll get CHAO food.
Once you gather the food go up the step and you should see multiple peices
of dynamite. Blow up all the dynamite and a huge platform should fall. Get
on that platform and look right. You should see an opening in the fence.
Get up on the adobe bricks which are huge and start walking straight. You
can't get up any higher then the bricks you are up on so don't bother
trying. Drop down to the platform on the left of you where you should see a
red container in front of you. Blow it up and it will make a small platform
for you. Because you took this so called shortcut you won't have to bother
climbing up any platforms because you will already be up there. Keep on
going straight and you should see these two weird creatures with spikes
surrounding them. Kill them by locking on to them with multiple shots from
your gun. Now continue to go straight by taking a long hover to the next
platform by the save point. If you are worried that you won't make it do a
running start to ensure you will. Hit the checkpoint and you'll see another
wall. Blow up the wall and you'll see many platforms moving in the next
room. Drop down to the first platform and then move to the next one which
is slightly moving up and down. Animals may drop from the ceiling on you
but don't worry, that's a good thing. When your platform is at it's highest
peak jump to the next platform which is moving up and down. Collect the
coin on the platform and you'll see a hook. Don't get up the hook yet
instead hover to the far left platform in the corner. Then go around the
statue and you should see another platform on the corner of the wall which
is moving. Before jumping on the platform make sure you blown up all the
pottery and make sure you still have some lives left. If you don't go back
to the hook. If you do continue on. If you make it on that you should get
the worse camera angle in the game. Ok just wanted to point that out. Jump
back to where the hook is. The hook will take you up pretty high where
you'll get coins on the way. Before jumping off the hook kill the monkeys
that are throwing things at you. Jump off to the left. Go forward on the
narrow platform and you should see a hook. Get on the hook and jump off to
the next platform which you should see a peice of pottery on it. Break the
pottery and the wall. Enter the next room where you should see tsome
monkeys throwing things at you. First kill the monkey and the two monkeys
on the adobe blocks. Keep on going straight now and get on the next
platform. Then instead of dropping down take a right and go up the platform
to the adobe bricks. If you do this, you'll by pass the enemy that has the
spikes surrounding him. Blow up the wall that is facing you to the left.
If you need coins drop down in to the pit but if you don't hover to the
opening of the wall. Once in there, drop down the to next platform. Blow
up the wall on the right side of the room and then jump up on the platform.
Once on the platform blow up the next wall that you immediently face after
the camera turns. Walk inside and you'll see a picture. Blow up the
picture and you'll have a step to jump up. Jump up and walk straight. If
you want an animal break the first left wall and then collect the animal.
If not keep walking straight and you'll come to yet another wall. Blow up
that wall and you'll see a checkpoint. Before you hit the checkpoint if you
turn left you will get some coins and an extra life. Hit the check point
and drop down to another moving platform. Jump forward to the next
platforms which are moving. Grab the hook and then you will turn 180
degrees around. Jump off the hook and hover to the next hook you'll see
which is straight ahead. Grab that hook while in air and then you'll go up
it. Once up it you'll see a monkey on the path. For some reason you can't
kill it from the hook so you have to jump off to kill it. Walk forward and
you'll see two black boxes and a crate. Blow up the crate and you'll see
another hook. Grab the hook and jump on to the next platform. If you need
coins before entering the next room fall off the left side of the platform
and go down the black boxes. You'll get about 6 coints there. If you don't
need coins break the wall and you'll enter a room where you can either go
straight or backwards. There will be two enemies with spikes rotating
around them. Kill them first and then go straight. You'll see a moving
platform. Jump on that one and then jump on the next one to your left.
Hurry up pass all the platforms because there are many monkeys throwing
bombs from the adobe bricks. Kill the monkey in your path and then turn to
the breaks and fire like crazy. Kill all the monkeys anbd then blow up the
dynate straight ahead of you. This will drop a platform. Go on the
platform and break the wall straight ahead of you. Now drop down the
platform and you'll see another one of those enemies with the spikes
rotating around him. Kill him and then go to the left side of the platform.
Hover over the quicksand to the platform that is moving up and down.
Don't go on the right path because there are monkeys throwing bombs that
way. Get a running start to get onto the next platform. Before jumping on
the next platform blow up the red thing. Also, blow up the monkey which is
located behind the red things. Now jump to the platform you just blew up.
Jump up yet another platform but watch out for monkeys throwing bombs. Kill
the monkeys on the adobe bricks. Now blow up the three red things and jump
on that platform. Once you are there you should see another wall to blow
up. Blow up that wall and you'll enter another room with platforms all
around. Drop down and take the platform to the left. Then hover to the
platform to straight ahead of you. Then drop down to the platform on the
left of you and grab the hook. While on the hool blow up all the dynamite
on the wall. Once you do that, jump off to the platform that you are
facing. You should see another hook, grab that and shoot all the monkeys.
You can't see the monkeys but shoot all around to make sure there are none
around. There are 2 that you can kill. Now jump to the brown platform and
you'll see another hook. Grab that and jump to the left red platform. Jump
up to the trampoline red thing and it will fly you to another platform.
Before blowing up the wall blow up the left and right poles. Now blow up
the wall and you'll see another enemy that has spikes. Kill it and you
should see the goal. You shjould get your 10th emblem for completing this
mission.

After you complete this mission you will suddenly move on to Sonic's stage.

Stage: 11
Pyramid Cave
Infilitrate Eggman's Hidden Base!
Hit the boosters right in front of you. It will send you through a tunnel
where you will be going at high speeds. Jump through the 3 rings to get
some points and then collect the coins. You should see two more boosters
that you should hit. Once hitting that go straight and try hitting the
rings on the ceiling. If you can't it's ok. Keep on going until you'll see
two more boosters. Hit those and it will send you to a launchpad. You'll
get launched to a checkpoint. Go forward and hit the the sand meter by
doing your homing attack. This will open up the wall for a short period of
time. Jump off and go inside the opening. Once in the room hit the
trampoline it'll send you to hook. Go up the hook and jump off to the
platform. You should see some fire. Go straight and you'll jump on to a
rotating platform. Swing off when you are just about to start going up in a
circle. You should see your first blue box with the Chao key inside on this
platform. If you want it get it but if not hit the hourglass. This will
shoot some platforms from the side of the walls so you can scale the wall.
Get on them real fast and scale up the wall. You should have plenty of time
to get up the wall. Once up, yoiu'll see another hourglass. Hit that and
use your light dash to collect the coins. Run forward and hit the one of
the four boosters. You'll run around for a short time and then get launched
to a place with a lot of coins. Use your light dash at the beginning of the
coin stretch and keep running until you see your first enemy. Kill the
enemy and then go up the platform. Here you should get the Bounce Bracelet
in the green light. The Bounce Bracelet allows you to jump higher. You'll
now see two enemies. Kill them and do your bounce move to get up the next
platform. Do this again and get up another platform where you should see a
hourglass. Hit the hourglass and it will send you up to an enemy. Kill the
eneny and run towards the openning. If you have to kill the enemy you'll
probably won't make it in time your first try so go back and hit the
hourglass again. Once you make it through you'll be in a hallway where
you'll see a blue animal. Go forward and you'll see a different type of
door. Pick the white thing up from the red octagon and throw in on the
platform where it has a blue circle in the middle. This should open the
door and you should see a checkpoint. Hit the checkpoint and and grind.
Stay on the grind and you'll fly a while to an enemy. Kill the enemy and
you should see another grind rail to the right of you. Grind that rail too.
Remember while grinding hold down B to go faster. Now jump off the
platform and you should see a hallway going up. Run up it and you'll see a
ghost and two enemies on white blocks. Kill the ghost and then kill the
enemies by doing your new jump. Now pick up the white thing from the red
octagon and run all the way back to your second grind rail where you saw
another place to put a white thing. While running back you need to hit the
hourglass to open up the door. Hit some boosters on the way and dodge an
enemy. When you arrive back throw the white thing onto the platform like
you did before which should open the door. Go in and hit the hourglass and
start running as fast as you can. Make sure you hit the boosters on your
way through the long hallway. When you are getting to the end you'll see
the door closing and a gap. Jump the gap and you'll fall down to another
booster where you will see another hourglass. Hit the hourglass and boost
all the way through the doors. If you make it it should say Great. Now
roll underneath the last openning and you'll get boosted on to this long
stretch. The stretch includes loops and a launchpad at the end. Once you
are at the end of it kill the enemy. Use your new jump to get up the side
of the wall on the left of you. Watch out for the enemy shooting at you.
Kill the enemy and then keep going straight. You'll see another grind pipe
which you should grind on. Make sure you have some speed going into the
grind or you'll fall down. If that is the case hit the hourglass and go up
the platforms. Hurry up, because the platforms slowely close back in to
wall. Go straight and hit your next hourglass. Spin dash up the slope by
stopping and holding down B. Then hit one of the boosters and you'll be on
your way to victory. Everything else is controlled on its own all you have
to do is keep on going. You should pick up your 11th emblem here.

Stage: 12
Death Chamber
Find the 3 Gate Keys!
You'll start off on a platform. If you flip the hourglass and run in the
first room you'll see another room you can run in to. Instead of running in
turn right and you'll see four boxes. Break the boxes and you'll see a
green light. You'll get your hammer gloves which can increase your punch
attack power. You'll need this to beat this level. Now you can break the
gray boxes open. I found this level to be extremely easy and on your first
turn it shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes to complete. Some things that
you should know that each color is the same and there is usually a key in
each color. If you are stuck somewhere and have no idea where to go and see
a weird kind of wall dig through it 3 times. You should be able to go
through it. This is how I got one key in this level. Another thing you
should know is that there are plently of televisions that will help you find
the keys. It's not really necessary to use the televisions in this level
because the level is very linear. If you are having any difficulty in this
level you should try going through walls. Remember the radar never lies and
most of the keys found here are buried either in the ground or in the wall.
To open the doors in this level there are plently of hourglasses to use. If
you are seriously having trouble finding a key die and then the key will be
generated somewhere else. You may get lucky and find the key right where
you start off. Once you complete this level you will get your 12th emblem.

After you complete your 12th stage there will be a cutscene with Knuckles.
He'll see a ghost and say What the...then you'll fight the ghost.

King Boom Boo
The King of Ghosts
This boss is actually pretty easy to beat. You start off with no coins so
make sure you pick up a coin right when you start. Run around until you get
behind him and see a hourglass with a small ghost guarding it. Hit the
small ghost and it will open the sun roof. King Boom Boo hates the sun so
he'll panick. Look for his shadow it will either be on the ground or on the
side of the wall. When you see it run to it and if you are on his shadow it
will freeze his shadow. Then dig it up and you'll see him run out in a real
slow pace. Touch him and he will lose energy. Once you touch him, he'll
start running real fast so it is very hard to hit him twice in a row. Once
the sunroof closes repeat the same thing. King Boom Boo has three attacks.
He has the attack where he throws blue fireballs from his hands, he has when
he flies after you at a high speed, and he has when he stops and shoots a
line of blue fire. When he shoots the line of blue fire, this is the best
time to get to the hourglass. This is because he is stationed in one
position and he can't get to the hourglass in time. If you try outrunning
King Boom Boo he will simply turn the other way to block you from hitting
the hourglass. Make sure you only collect one coin at a time because there
is a good chance that you will get hit by one of King Boom Boo's weapons.
If you only have one coin, then you can always go and get another coin. The
coins are located on the outside of the ring. If King Boom Boo attacks you
with his high speed fly make sure you hug the wall and run as fast as you
can. Doing this will get you away from King Boom Boo. King Boom Boo is a
pretty easy boss to beat and shouldn't take that long to kill. I took care
of him on my 3rd turn when I first played him.

After you defeat King Boom Boo, you see Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and Sonic.
Then Eggman comes and Sonic tells his friends that he will take care of
Eggman. Eggman shows them his servant who is a huge rock egyptian type of
thing. Then the scene cuts out.

Egg Golem
The Golem
This could possibly be the easiest boss in the game so far. To kill Egg
Golem you must get behind him and climb the platforms on the back of his
head. Once you reach the top, touch the button and it will hurt him. Don't
worry if you fall to the quicksand you can easily jump out of with Sonic.
In the quicksand there are tons of coins and many hooks to get back up the
level. Egg Golem is pretty strong and he does smash some of the path to the
ground leaving spots where you have to jump. Egg Golem has two moves. One
move is his punch where he swings from over the top and tries to smash you.
The other move he has is he takes his hand and runs it across the platform
spinning in circles trying to knock you off. None of these moves that the
Egg Golem have are effective at all. I actually took care of Egg Golem on
my first try and you shouldn't have a problem either.

After you defeat Egg Golem you'll see a spaceship that lifts out. Sonic
runs inside the spaceship and he gets lifted off from the top of the
pyramid. The spaceship goes in to space and you see Dr. Eggman's colony.
The spaceship gets hit by a rock and Knuckles touches a lever.

Sonic, Amy, Tails are in the shuttle. Tails talks about Arc being the most
technological place at its time. Sonic reminds them that they should find
the cannon and destroy it. They found out that the defense shields are
extremely strong. Tails made a fake chaos emerald that looks extremely
real. Tails wants to get the real chaos emerald and switch it with the fake
one to power down the machine.

Stage: 13
Eternal Engine
Destroy the colony's power generator!
You start off facing two shuttles. Kill both shuttles and the door in front
of you should open. Head forward and kill the three shuttles you come
across of. Also, blow up everything else in your site of path. The door on
the right should open up. Go inside and kill the shuttles that are shooting
at you. Once they are dead the door should open up. Walk towards it by
collecting the four rings. Go forward and run to the right crate. Blow it
up so you can jump on the trampoline as fast as possible. If you can't make
it in time you might get hit by some bombs. Once on the trampoline you'll
fly to a hook. Grab the hook and it will take you up a few stories. Kill
the shuttle and hover to the other hook. Grab the hook and it will take you
up a couple more stories. Now hover off the hook in to the room with the
enemy flying around in it. Right when you get in the room blow up the two
enemies and the two tubes. Then continue straight and the wall should open
up. You should see your first checkpoint. Blow up the walls but make sure
you don't get sucked in to space. Take a left after blowing up the walls
and the door should open. Kill the three shuttles and the blow up the two
tubes. You'll then encounter some red beams. Jump to the left of them and
hover by them. Then collect the coins and the door should open up. Go
through the door and kill the enemy. After killing him, another door should
open up. Blow up the camera type of thing and try opening the door. The
door should not open. Go out of the room and go straight and you will see
two crates. Blow up the crates and the dynamite. Now you should see a
white switch. Hit the switch but make sure you don't fly in to outer space.
Now go back to the door you couldn't open and it should be open. Walk
through it and blow up the robot on the path. Then blow up the dynamite and
hover over the platform that blows up. The door should open up. When
you're done with that go in the next room. Blow up all the enemies but try
not to blow up the time capsules. Note that this is the first place that
you should make sure you don't blow them up because if you do you will most
likely get sucked in to space. In the rooms before this, it was really hard
to get sucked in to space even if you did blow them up. That's why I told
you guys to blow them up. Ok anyways, don't blow up any of the dynamite.
Walk right through this room and the door should open. You should now be
some dark room with two shuttles flying. Kill the two shuttles and jump
down. Make sure you land on the middle platform. Kill the enemies on the
right and left platforms and then go back to where you came out of. There
should be a rocket now. Shoot the rocket off and it will hit the cages.
Now go through the openning by going on the middle platform and hovering to
the opening. Inside the room all the enemies should already be dead. Go
straight and another door will open. Go straight and kill the plane that
flies by you. Wath out for the weight that drops down. Jump over it when
it falls. Now hit the tank in the middle of the two trampolines. The
weight should rise up and while you get flown in the air hover onto the
weight. This may take a while to do but you need to do it. From the
weight, grab the hook. You'll fly up a few stories and see another hook.
Jump down to it (don't hover) to hold on to it. Now hold onto the hook. It
should bring you up to a room with two thigns flying on the walls. Don't
kill them, just walk by them and the door will open. Now you will see a
water animal in the next room. Kill it and then the door on the left will
open. Walk through that door and kill the water blob. Also, kill the two
water blobs on the ceiling. Now you will see some red lights. Don't touch
them or you will get hurt. Instead over to the left of them to get by them.
Make sure you go to the left side because there will be an opening in the
ground that will kill you. After you get pass the lazors you will open the
next door. When the door opens there will be 3 shuttles. Kill them and
hover to the left of the screen by the crates. Blow up the crates and jump
on the gray box. Now this is your first true test of platform jumping.
There will be four platforms raising up and down with lazors going through
them. Jump ont he first platform right when it starts rasing up from the
lazors. Right after that jump onto the far left platform and you'll be
safe. Now jump to the center platform to the right of you right when it
starts going up from the lasors. Once on that platform hover off and hit
the balloon. Now go down and hit the next checkpoint. The door will open
and you'll see two doors. One door won't open so go to the left door. Kill
the four shuttles in the room and continue in to the next room. You will
now be in space. Kill the two shuttles and blow up the robot on the first
right turn off the path. Make sure you don't blow up any of the dynamite.
Now grab the hook and hop onto the next platform. Kill the shuttle and kill
all the planes that are flying around. Hover over the part of the path that
just fell and collect the coins. Kill all the planes after this and don't
blow up the dynamite. If you do it's ok but it makes it a bit harder for
you to grab the hook. Grab the hook and jump to the platform on the right
of you. Collect the coins and blow up the planes. Now open the door and
you will get to your next checkpoint. Go through it and open the next door.
Blow up the plane and go to the left of the lasors. If you didn't blow up
any of the dynamite you should have no problem getting to the next room. In
the next room, kill the blob on the pathway. Also, kill the two flying
blobs. Try not to blow up the ramp. Hit the white switch and jump off the
platform. You will now see a green light which if you hit you'll get the
Bazooka. It's a Volkan Power Up and you can break through iron containers
that you couldn't break before. Now get out of the room and jump off the
ledge. Hover to a platform and blow up all the boxes lined up. Dodge the
planes and get pass the lasors by jumping to the left of them. Get out of
the room and then go to the next room where you will kill the blue enemy.
Try to not blow up any dynamite or you will probably die. Once there, grab
the hook you see. You will go up and see another hook to the front of you.
Hover to that hook and drop down on the platform. The platform will now
start going up and a door will open. Go through the door and then another
door will opoen. In that next door, you'll see a checkpoint. Go through
the checkpoint and the next door will open. Hover to the platform that is
by itself. The platform will fall down so hover. Let go off the hover
button and you find yourself floating in space. You'll have tons of enemies
that will be shooting at you. Try to shoot as many as you can and make it
to the door as fast as possible. Once you get to the door it will open up.
Inside, collect the coins and open up another door. A big blue enemy will
be inside waiting for you. Shoot him and you'll be on a ledge all by
yourself. Jump off the ledge and you'll see lines of lasors. Stick to the
wall and you'll be ok. Hover down shooting everything in your path. Once
down drop down to the platform by itself. You should hear Sonic say
something to you. Now you'll see a big peice of equipment with blue buttons
flashing. Blow all of them up and the front of the equipment will blow up
exposing the goal. Hover to the platform and then jump up onto the next
platform to get the goal. You should get your 13th emblem.

Tails tells Sonic to put the emerald in. Then Dr. Eggman scares Tails.
Tails try to say something about Amy but he fades out. Sonic is left
wondering where Amy is.

Stage: 14
Meteor Herd
Find 3 pieces of the Master Emerald!
This is one of the harder Knuckles stages. The path is linear but it is
very long. A few things that I should point out is that the storage
containers are the big blue things floating by themselves. Also, it is
pretty hard to die in this level. The only way you can die is by getting
hit by meteors. The chance of getting hit by a meteor is very slim but
possible. Look out for them if you are having no coins. Also, if you
remember that I can not tell you where the emeralds are in this stage
because they are randomely generated. Don't worry though, always consult
the televisions for tips. If you do this, you will know where the emeralds
are located. Other than that, there is really nothing else I can tell you
to do. Remember to dig if you can't find the emerald. Also, if you are
sure that your radar isn't working just kill yourself. The emerald will be
generated in a different place. When you find the 3 pieces of the emerald
you'll get your 14th emblem.

You'll see a cut scene Rouge the Bat and Knuckles arguing. Then you will
fight Rouge.

Rouge
This is one of the easiest battles in the game. Right when you can move, go
get a coin to make sure you have life. Only get one coin though because you
don't want to run out of the coins at the end of the game. Alright, beating
Rouge is simple. All you have to do is run and hit B when you are near her.
This will punch her. She takes about 5 punches. The floor will probably
break open underneath you guys when you are fighting. Don't worry, just fly
around a locate Rouge. Don't fight her in the air because she will beat
you. When the floor gets back together, attack her again. Rouge is pretty
weak but she will still try killing you. The way she tries killing you is
by climbing up a wall and then stomping down on you. Make sure you don't
try to attack her when she is on a wall. Let her off the wall and then
punch her. Rouge isn't a hard boss so you should be able to beat her your
first try.

After defeating Rouge you'll see Knuckles breathing hard. They both say the
same thing because they want back their emeralds. Rouge falls down and
Knuckles saves her. Rouge tells him not to touch her. Rouge gaves Knuckles
some pieces of a emerald. Knuckles leaves and then Rouge smiles after
giving him the emerald.

Stage: 15
Crazy Gadget
Hurry and find Eggman!
This is the hardest level in the game so far. If you can get by this level
then you should pat yourself on your back. Start off by collecting the
coins infront of you. Then run to the door and it will open. Kill the two
robots and you should clear the path. Run forward some more and then a
robot will drop down. He's no problem to kill. Get the bin of coins and
the camera will change. Now you will be facing a different direction.
You'll see a huge opening when you can run down. Run down and kill the blue
enemy. Jump on the crates and press the switch poiting up between the two
gray boxes. This will make you and the gray boxes go to the ceiling. Now
you can run on the ceiling. Run as far as you can and you should see
another blue enemy. Run passs him and the hit the switch that has the arrow
pointing down. You hit the switch by pressing X. Now brake the crate and
kill the robot. Gather the coins and kill the blue enemy. Then grab the
hook and you will go up. When you are up on the hook jump down on the lower
hook. Now you will be up on the highest point. Jump off the hook and you
should hit the checkpoint. Get the coins and then smash the glass in the
tube. This will send you up the tube. You'll go on a short journey and
then end up on a new platform. You'll see the platforms in the center move.
Go to the left of the screen and you'll see 2 shuttles. You can't hit the
shuttles when they are charging are you will automatically lose coins. Hit
them when they aren't charged and then hit the trampoline to get up onto
another platform. On this next platform there will be two robots. They
should blow up automatically. Stay to the left side of the wall until you
see the green arrow pointing up. Tap X and you'll be on the ceiling again.
Break through the crates. The middle crate will have a trampoline pointing
down. Hit it and while you go down push forward on the joystick. Now you
will still be on the ceiling. You can try hitting the green switch pointing
down but it won't work. Instead spin trhough the wall and you should see a
checkpoint. Run through the checkpoint and grind on the rail by doing a
spindash on the ceiling. Keep going and you will see three arrows. If you
press the one going down, you will die. Press the left arrow and then hit
down the side of the wall. You should see an opening in the wall with an
arrow point to the right. Hit it and you will fly onto the right wall. Now
go down the right side of the wall and grind the bar between the two gray
boxes. It will be a long grind. You'll end up on a platform with a blue
enemy. Kill the blue enemy and then continue going straight. Kill the
three shuttles when they aren't surrounded by electricity. Hit the booster
and collect the coins. You'll now see an enemy that you never saw before.
He will throw out little creatures. There will be so many creatures on th
floor. Instead of killing them, kill a few of them and then kill him by
flying up and doing the homing attack. After killing him the door will
open. Go through the checkpoint and grind the bar if you would like. Turn
left and kill the robot with the shield. Again, grind the bar if you would
like. If you do grind the bar you will grind it with your hands. Kill the
robot and then make your way upt he gray boxes. You should see four
shuttles. Make sure you start attacking them right after they used their
electricity shield. Homing attack all four of them and then homing attack
the rings. Right when you hit the first ring press B to do your light dash.
This will let you gather all the coins. Now the door will open. Go
through the door and you'll hit another checkpoint. Gather the coins and
break through the glass to the pipe. You will roll through a long tube
where you will end up in a new room backwards. Collect the coins and keep
going straight. There should be platforms moving on top of you. Dodge the
three blue enemies and all the crates and run to the green arrow pointing
down. Press X and you will fall to the ground. Now hit the trampoline on
the right back side of the room. You'll go back to where you were right
before falling down but you will be now on the ground. You'll see all these
gray crates and a green light shining out of them. Go in the middle of the
crates and you'll get the Flame Ring. The Flame Ring allows you to use a
powerful "Fire Somersault" Head back to the room you just came from with
the two arrows. Break the three boxes on the back wall next to the second
arrow. Now go back to the first arrow. Press X on the next green arrow
pointing up. You will be on the ceiling. Now go straight and press B to do
a somersault. This will get you through the little openning in the wall.
Break the crate that you see right when you enter the new room. Follow the
coins and you should see a blue enemy. Forget about the enemy and hit the
trampolines facing down on the right of him. Press forward while flying
down to get in to a new hallway. Go down and you should see a grind pipe.
Grind the rail and you will enter yet another room. Again, dodge the blue
enemy and hit the trampolines facing down in front of you. Press forward on
the analog to get in to a new room. The following is a bit hard to do. Get
on the edge of the platform and change your camera view facing the coins.
Press B to collect all the coins. If you don't do this you'll die from
either the top or the bottom. Walk straight on the ceiling and blow up the
crate. You should see a trampoline facing down. Hit that and you will now
be on the floor. You'll see a blue enemy. Kill him and the door will open
with a line of coins. Press B to do the light dash. Make sure you at the
end of the platform or it might not work. You'll get tons of rings and go
in to a new room where you'll see another one of those enemies who shoot out
all the little creatures. Turn in the door you just opened and you should
see a shuttle. Kill him when his lightning is off and grind the rail. When
you get off the rail you should see two robots with sheilds and a shuttle.
Kill the shuttle and kill the two robots. Break open the glass and go in to
the warp tube. When you get out of the warp tube kill the three blue
enemies. This will open up another door where you should see two rotating
spikes and a red bar. Try making it over the the bar. Then if you can't
make it fall down and kill the enemy on the bottom. This will open the
bottom door. Get the 10 coins and then the next door will open. You should
see a whole on the floor. Don't go by the hole in the floor instead hug the
right side. Then hit the high platform by doing your high jump that you
learned a couple stages ago. Now you should hit a trampoline that will fly
you up to another platform. Kill the two robots and then the door will open
up. You should see a checkpoint. Hit the white switch and hit the boost
meter. You will make it through the door and collect coins. Now hit the
switch to make you go up to the ceiling. Break the first box in front of
you. You should see lasors. Go to the left side of the purple ceiling and
you should see a shuttle. Dodge the shuttle and hit the arrow pointing
left. This will send you in space onto a green platform. Collect the
coins. Go down the green platform and you should see a gray box. Get
behind the gray box and do your special jump that you learned in the
previous stages. This will send you down the platform onto a new platform.
Hit the arrow and you should be sent to a yellow platform. Now this is
probably the hardest part of the game so far. Gather the coins and jump to
the switch from the edge of the yellow platform. Don't climb up the tall
part of the platform jump from the past part of the horizontal part. Land
on the arrow and press X. Now hit the trampoline and you'll go flying
straight out. Press down and you'll be on a new yellow platform. Hit the
trampoline and you'll grind the rail. If you think you are going to fall
just press B and that will just do your light dash. Now you should see some
shuttles with lightning surround them. Don't worry, passing them shouldn't
be a problem if you leave to the right side after they are done powering up.
Now hit the trampoline and push left while in the air. You'll hit a
purple platform. Go straight and you should see a line of coins. Hit B to
do your
