"Silver- A game to buy..."

Gameplay: 9.4/10
A lot of action, easy to learn. I would say it is a mix of Final Fantasy 7 and Diablo with a lot better graphics. The running around relates to FF7 yet the fighting is real time so it seems somewhat like Diablo. The fights will grasp your thoughts. Not like other RPGS considering you cannot go back through time to get more experience and things like that. This makes it harder than just about any other RPG out there... which I feel is a good thing.

Replay Value: 9/10
Great during the first time before you have beaten it. Only thing is, like all Role-Playing-Games, it gets old after it is beaten once. Still I have played for about two hours so far and I estimate I am about one tenth done so I will get my money's worth. I heard that average gameplay time is approxamately 18 hours. Only problem is once the game is done, nothing really to come back to. After you kill all the ''bad-guys'' in the castles they never come back so it is just blank after it is over. Anyways that doesn't really matter because all RPGs become very boring after a certain amount of time and when beaten are rarely played again.

Graphics: 9.5/10
Exceptional, the best graphics I have ever seen on an RPG. Possibly not the full potential of Dreamcast... which is just scary. Most complex polygonal graphics to date (in the United States). I can't think of any game like it with better graphics...although this isnt sayign that much because it is kind of an abnormal game.

Overall: 9.3/10
No real major flaws. Only things I would like to have been added is multiplayer capabilites and along with that maybe a mode where you can square off against eachother, like a battle mode. Also it would have been nice to name the characters myself like in Final Fantasy Tactics or something like that. I also wish there were more classes of fighters, not just one warrior man. Something like a sorceror would be cool and some weird other things would have kept the game more interesting.


In short this is a very good game that any person who likes fighting games or role playing games should buy as long as they A.) have the money (around $40 new) and B.) have a Dreamcast handy :)
