Review by Amajlaton

"Get ready for hour of fun!"

What can I say about this game? Well, it's short. REALLY short. It's good, great music, you'll like it if you like any sort of rhythm game. But, it's SHORT.

Story: You are Ulala, reporter for Space Channel 5, and you are trying to stop the evil corporation from being evil, or something to that effect. The fact that I can't even fully remember the storyline shows that it's pretty ho-hum. Does a music game need an epic storyline anyway?

Graphics: Great graphics. Everything is crystal clear, no slowdown or anything. At some points in the game the graphics will look very impressive. The FMV could have been blended with the game a little better, but that's just nit-picking.

Sound: The magic of this game is the music. It's great. You'll most likely dig it. It's soundtrack-worthy, and probably why you'll play the game again.

Gameplay: Though the gameplay has that simon-says quality to it, it's very enjoyable, and musical. I especially like how the shooting aliens/humans is incorporated with pressing the buttons with the rhythm. My main gripe with the gameplay is that it's not 100% responsive, so sometimes you have to mash the button to get it to go.

Replayability: You will probably go through this game around three times. Problem is, the game is so short, going through it three times will take three hours, so you'll probably be like me and have a game sitting there for four days before you have to return it. At least they give you a lot of extras to uncover, and a way to perfect your game by going through it X number of times.

I don't usually do a buy/rent section, but this particular case, I say rent it. RENT RENT RENT, or BUY CHEAP. Because if you spend more than 10$ on this game, it will have been wasted money. I completed this game first time through in 57 minutes, and so will you, so if you think paying 40$ for an hour of fun is good, then go ahead and buy it. But you can make like me and spend around 15$ total on it (5 for one rental, 10 for a purchase. What can I say, I like to own good games, even if they aren't the longest).

Note from the author: Ladies, if you're looking for someone to cos-play, Ulala is always a favorite of mine, and she always stands out in a crowd (given that there aren't 50 other Ulalas there).
