Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
Review by RATM
"An Update to one of the Best Fighting Games on the Dreamcast"
Story
Was there a story in the first one? I mean its just like a fighting game between two game companies. I don't really think there is a real big story line behind it. I mean nice arcade mode and endings but I don't see a real concrete story behind it. But it doesn't take away from the game at all.

Graphics
Damn you Capcom, I guess you really don't like high-res that much. But they should have moved up for Capcom vs. SNK it would have looked really good. But for now I'll except the pixilated sprites that you gave us. This version seems a little better animated so thank you Capcom for actually changing some stuff in here other than the fact that Joe and Dan are here now. The backgrounds are pretty good, a hell of a lot better than the characters. Nothing really bad here though.

Control
Pretty much the same as the previous version which is a good thing. Almost flawless controls is part of what makes this one of the best fighting games on the Dreamcast. I bow to you oh great Capcom creator of flawless controls and such. I mean I really have to hand it to Capcom, I don't think I have ever played a Capcom game with bad controls but maybe that's just a luck thing, we will have to see about that though.

Game Play
It's a bad ass game. I can't really say much more than that. The challenge is there, the replay value is there, what more could you ask for. What is awesome is that all the secrets are unlocked from the beginning. Even though it takes a little from the replay value it still has a lot of replay value. But I'll touch on that a little later.

Sound
I like the old music that has been updated for this game. I think it is really freaking bad ass. As a matter of fact all of the music is good. Too bad Marvel vs Capcom 2 couldn't have been like this. Even the character select music is cool. Sound effects are also very well done. It all comes out at the right time and its all good stuff. Voices are on the good side too. Kudos to Capcom for the job well done.

Replay Value
I just like playing with all the different teams you can create. There are also some other modes, Pair Match, V.S. if you have any fighting game playing friends. The color edit mode is pretty cool too. I have messed around with a few of the characters and you can do some pretty crazy stuff. I made a bad ass Akuma with blue skin, it's freaking tight. But anyways, can't ask for much more.

Buy or Rent
Well I can't really recommend that people who already have the first one to get this one, but anyone that never got the first one this is the one to get. Everything unlocked, better animations, two new characters, adjusted character balance, and everything else that the first one had. A beautiful import choice, and plus most places it is only like 35- 40 bucks. So what more could you ask for.
