ChuChu Rocket!

"A Great Puzzle Game That You Can Play Forever"
When Dreamcast first came out I was impressed with what Sonic Team did with Sonic Adventure. After playing Sonic Adventure, I was hoping to get my hands on the next game that Sonic Team made. After a few months of waiting I heard of a game called Chu Chu Rocket. When I was reading what it was about I was like ''What the hell is this? This game looks like it's for kids!'' Well, I was truly wrong. Chu Chu Rocket is one of the most fun games that I have ever played in my life.
Chu Chu Rocket's graphics aren't impressive, but they aren't suppose to be. The game itself is very colorful and has an overall nice feel to it. There isn't really anything special about Chu Chu Rocket's graphics because it's a puzzle game and puzzle games aren't know for their superior graphics. The board, cats, and mice look really nice though.
Gameplay is where Chu Chu Rocket REALLY shines. If you don't have anyone to play video games with don't worry about it. Chu Chu Rocket comes packed with over 75 single player puzzles to solve. If you're bored with that, remember when you bought Dreamcast you heard it came with a modem? Well, Chu Chu Rocket uses it to it's fullest. If you have nothing else to do, go online and play with other people. If you don't have a real ISP don't worry. Chu Chu Rocket can be played with 4 people (at your house) if you have four controllers. Trust me, you'll never get bored of this game.
The control in Chu Chu Rocket is so easy that anyone could get use to it in 5 minutes. See, the point of this game is to get your mice in to the rockets before the cats eat your mice. All you have to do is set panels to get to the rocket before the cat gets you or gets to the rocket. Sounds easy eh? Well, it isn't...Sadly, you get a limited number of panels to put on the board so it's really hard. Luckily, your mice can bounce off walls and stuff like that.
There isn't that much sound in Chu Chu Rocket. Well, may be there is but I was too busy focusing on where I could put the panels to get my mice to the rockets. You get so sucked in to this game that you don't think about anything else while playing except the game itself. There's a nice little midi playing in the background when you're trying to solve the puzzles. Other than that, there isn't anything else but there isn't suppose to be.
Chu Chu Rocket is a must own game for everyone. If you have 30 bucks laying around, yeah that's right this game only cost 30 big ones, go down to your local video game store and buy this game. If not, make sure you give it a rent. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
