"Hot Shots Golf copy...but better!"

Tee Off Golf was a golf game I never heard of. My family and I went to dinner and after we decided to go into Ames. When I went to electronics and saw the game, I asked the clerk to see it. After I looked at it, I decided to buy it for $20 bucks. When I got home and played a few holes I was really happy we went to dinner!

Graphics: 10/10 This game has very high-quality graphics. The players are like the exact same size and shape as the Hot Shot players but have different names and abilities. But I gave it a ten because because the courses themselves look very realistic. The fairways, the rough, the bunkers, the trees, everything! It all comes to life.

Sound: 8/10 The sound in this is also cool. Each course has a rockin' tune to jam to while you play. The irons and drivers have different sounds when you hit the ball and that is always good.
The players talk too, when like you hit a good shot or duff it. But this is a little bit of the reason why I didn't give it a higher score. This is because sometimes the words don't match the shot for example, there is this one girl you can play as. After you hit your drive she sometimes will say '' This is going to be a tough shot. '' and the ball is right down the middle of the fairway or when she pars she will say, '' Ohhhhh. '' like she was mad but I think par is half way decent. Also when you hit it in to the cup it rattles around the cup like it was metal. Last time I checked it made a different sound when you hit it in.

Control: 9/10 The control in this is like any other golf game. You control where to hit it, how strong, what club to use, the spin on the ball and the slice or hook. There not really that much else to it.

Gameplay: 10/10 This is where the game is at it's finest! There are 3 modes of play. World Tour, Free Round, and the Futuristic Gate Ball. In free round you play like it says, a round of golf. You can pick point tourney, stroke play, or match play. In world tour you play a circuit where you can unlock players, golf clubs and balls. THAT'S RIGHT!!! I said clubs and balls. Before each match ( except in Gate Ball ) you pick your balls and clubs. Before each world tour you can pick your difficulty level in the options and depending on the level you can unlock different players, clubs, and balls. Now on to Gate ball. It's croquet but really futuristic there are four players and It's two on two. The first team to get their balls through the gates wins.

Challenge: 10/10 It depends on who you pick and what difficulty level.

Replay: 9/10 The score is high because you can unlock things so the more you unlock the funner it gets.

Buy Or Rent: Buy, This is a really cool golf game for the Dreamcast. So if you are looking for a golf game for the DC pick this one up.
