"Was Sega's quality control department taking the day off when this game was made?"

I hate this game. It's horrible. It's a very poor excuse for a first person shooter (and a video game). I'm honestly surprised this game from Sega (considering their video game [not system] track record).

Presentation: 8/10
Nothing to really complain about here. The menus are fine, except the control menu (which was hella hard to find), and the game feels like its arcade counterpart.

Graphics: 8/10
The graphics in this game are really, really good. You get 60 fps almost constantly, even during split screen multi player games. The characters are detailed pretty nicely, but the levels and textures aren't the greatest looking. They were kind of a letdown considering what system the game is running on.

Sound: 6/10
The music in this game is horrid in my opinion. You know the term ''Butt Rock''? This music is what I call ''Butt Techno''. It's just nasty. Whoever made it should be ashamed of themselves. The sounds aren't very detailed. They just seem to be there to get the job done. The sound effects are decent, nothing more. I've heard better, but I've also heard worse.

Gameplay: 2/10 (1/10 if you live in Europe)
This is where the game really falls flat on its ass. The single player game is just lame. You do things to try to unlock characters and be given a rank. It's boring, and lame. The other single player mode is just multi player. Sure, Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament are the same, but the levels in Outtrigger and the scoring system are stupid. In general, I like small levels, but these are tiny! They're way too small to be fun. And the scoring goes like this: you get a point by killing the guy, and then another if you pick up the ''coin'' he drops. This isn't so bad if you aren't playing with coin hoarders, but with them, it just takes away from the fun. The AI in the game isn't very good either; they're either too hard or too easy. There's no middle ground. The online mode adds to this game, but it still fails to make up for how much the rest of it sucks. (BTW, if you live in Europe, you really got shagged, no online play.)

Controls: 4/10
There are like 60 different controls for this game, but only 2 are any good. It's not only hard to get the controls good, but it's hard to find the control menu.

Lasting Appeal: 1/10
The lasting appeal is non-existent. You won't want to play this game very long.

Rent or Buy?:
Neither. Send me the money. The outcome will be the same. You'll be bored, and feel ripped off.
