"One Bad Ass Game"

This one game that has had me playing day in and day out. Heavy Metal has been a great franchise, and this game shows that it is still going strong. Megadeth, Halford, Corrosion of Commformity, and Dust to Dust show that a game can still rock during this time of ''teeny bopper'' era. The gameplay is excellent, graphics are sharp, and the overall gist of it is that everyone should pick up this game. The Arcade mode rocks !!! Having played it at a demo kiosk at my local game retailer, I was immediately hooked. If your not a fan of the franchise, it is still worth a look. Being similar to Spawn (which also rocks) helped its score. For those who are hesitant about getting the game, I was too. Let me teel you something, GET IT. Those who wait shall lose out on a great gaming experience. I got the last copy at my store. Had good reviews at that particular store. The store by the way is Game Square in California. Hope some people will get to try this game for themselves without me having to try to convince them. Go, try it. You'll never regret it. (maybe perfect 99)

Graphics: 10 - The smooth animation of the characters was great. This is still shows that the Dreamcast still has life. With great animation, solid framerate, well drawn arenas, and great level structure show the Dreamcast can handle alot.

Control: 9 - Took a bit of getting used to, but 5 minutes later, I found that the game controls smoothly. The dash button helps get out of tight jams.

Gameplay: 10 - The Chaosmatrix mode adds alot until someone comes over to play. Multiplayer is a blast too. One will find that the game has a great AI. Great Gameplay.

Overall: 9 - The game is simply great. It doesn't get any better than this. Hopefully, Capcom will come out with more games like this, only getting better each time.

Simply put, Heavy Metal is a great franchise and Geomatrix is a great game for a great system. Those who own a Dreamcast, get this game as its a great addition to your video game library. Those still contemplating on whether to get a Dreamcast(Don't know why for this long)this game should change your mind about this last, great system. Hopefully more games come out like these on the next-generation systems.
